  • Toast and stuff for lunch today (the boys are still eating their giant kebabs from last night ).

Its been snowing lightly here all day so its nice to be sat in the warm just looking out at it. All we need now are some good movies this afternoon :)

Left over rissotto for lunch and slop for tea - defrosted for long long time and should prob chuck out but as is a veggie meal will risk it

Quorn meatballs, tom sauce and cous cous or pasta or rice or noodles

Slopsville here I chuck on a plate!

Also took last years mince pies out of the freezer to defrost and cook later on today as I eat practically everything I can that's got sugar in it today!

Too right pen - much nicer than shop bought. Only problem is I eat more this way! Or maybe not - just less additives!

  • I hate to think what they put in shop bought ones - I can easily manage a whole packet in one sitting. But homemade ones fill me up after a couple.

We've got friends with children coming round Christmas Eve so I think I'm going to make a few different batches of plain ones but with different sweets thrown in. Will be cheaper than the normal junk I buy.

    Ooh lovely!

I'm thinking of making a couple of nigella cakes for a leaving do at work on Friday - the lemon polenta one and the vanilla festive one which I want to trial run to see if its nice and try my new cake tin out then make for my family at christmas. Work colleagues will be willing guinea pigs I'm sure!
