Dinner here last night......toby carvery!!!:T Had to work 4-8 as well as my day shift as someone off sick. Piglet stayed at mums overnight so me and OH snuck out for a meal!!

Unfortunately, there'll be none of that today. Breakfast boring old toast, lunch corned beef sandwich with cheese and gherkins, dinner is chicken with jacket spud.:)

Miss P, you get to dine out quite a lot huh!

DD2 was sick at school yesterday and so she's off again today and I have no one to look after her till DD1 returns from work. Lucky (for me not her), she's doing a 4am - 10am shift so as soon as she's in I'll be off to work, was hoping we'd have a snow day

Last meal out for a while though Jo....we just had to make the most of a free evening!:D Just means one christmas present less for OH :rotfl::rotfl:

Hope DD2 is feeling better soon. Loads of bugs going round. One school near us was talking about closing for a few days as there were so few kids in school!

We are still on the ready meal regime. I broke away on Monday night with boiled potatoes and pickled herrings (DD was poorly so went straight to bed without tea, she is fine now). Yum yum, should have bought more pickled herrings, only half a jar left.

Going to BF this weekend so that I can study (first exam on Monday) and I am sure we are getting fed a bit better there.

Decs are going up here too today DS is off sick - I can tell he's feeling quite rough as he's not moaned about the lack of advent calendar yet (best get to the shop a bit quick)!

Have no idea yet what to cook today, I'm actually on a day off so I supose I'd better give DH a hand in the kitchen.
