Sorry I have been MIA
But accounts set number 3 are done and ready to go the auditor tomorrow and I have put them on the computer so they will be easier still next year
Absolutely shattered now so I will have to leave the zoom round the diaries until tomorrow after church, delivering the accounts and taking kids to the library and anything else that crops up between now and then

Morning DT,
saw the mini rant on KC's thread about the census, so popped over here. You seem to be doing OK at the moment, despite your feeling you needed a kick.
Take care

Hi DT, belated Happy Birthday! Sounds like a lovely day and how wonderful that your DH sang to you - that's so special!
Sorry to hear you missed the course, but hopefully when it comes around next year, you'll be in a job and be glad you didn't have to waste the money (if that makes sense)
Pah to the Census, but Yay to getting the accounts done! Hope everything else is ticking along nicely0 -
Well either spring fever has arrived in the DT household or else I am about to give birth  I am assuming the former and not nesting
I have said in the past that I would like to move to a contemporary house with clean lines but as other than the mega expensive ones most of the contemporary houses don't do it for me on the outside it would more likely be an old shell with a contemporary interior having spotted an ideal one on escape to the country this week has set me thinking again
Cons
1. Not likely to get a house like we have in the position we have got for the money we could afford
2. We would have to spend money on this house before we sold it which we dont have
3. Although I like clean lines and we don't go for lots of ornaments etc. we do seem to attract stuff which would spoil the look I would like so could we live like that?
The latter point led me yesterday to declutter the kitchen I can't believe the amount of stuff out on the work surfaces it has now been removed and only replaced by the essentials mainly the coffee machine
So we now have an amazingly big kitchen with acres of usable work surface the test is how long it lasts like that I know the look would not suit everyone but I love it and so does OH - it reminds me of when we are in Lanzarote living in a modern clutter free house pity about the lack of warmth and pool :rotfl::rotfl: but we do have sun today so the decluttering is moving to the outside once the little one goes down for his nap with a massive clearing of the pergola and drastic pruning of the rose and clematis adorning the same.
The Pros
1. I could look for a house nearer to civilisation so that I could find a job easier
2. I could get the features I would like to install in this house
3. I could have a smaller easier to maintain garden
4. We could look for decent schools and avoid the need for private education at age 11 for the little ones
5. I like moving we used to move all the time so being in this house 13 years is a mega amount of time for us
The house on escape to the country was in Norfolk and apart from being nearer to Hypno so I can ask for personal match betting lessonsand the possibility that we could sort out the estrangement with at least one of OHs daughters who as far as we know still lives in Norfolk with our two grand children
there is no great reason to move to that side of the country although the prices are more reasonable and OH says its near to the Lotus factory
On the legal front I am still waiting to hear whether my application to be restored to the roll has been accepted although they cashed my cheque ages ago - these lawyers do take their time :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: actually I feel more :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
And as for the census people they are a joke
