Well I have spoken to my friend he is rather lovely we have been friends since our first day at Uni
. He also met his wife that day.
Rather unexpectedly he has contacts up north he is going to speak to for me :T which was not why I phoned him I thought all his contacts were midlands and southern based had no idea that his firm has offices in Manchester and Leeds and he also knows people in Chester so I am keeping my fingers firmly crossedHe is going to phone me tomorrow after speaking to someone in the Manchester office.
I have a busy day on Monday with social worker coming, as well as the Health Visitor and my brother and sister in law but I must find time to start off my application to get back on the roll of solicitors and to get my practicising certificate. I am hoping that the Manchester lady may be able to give some advice about suitable courses.
So it looks like I am going to be doing this bit scarey really

Yes and yes
£20 to get back on the roll of solicitors and about £900:eek: to get my practicising certificate for what remains of the current year to 1st Nov and then the courses so not cheap and will have to go on a 0% card for now as there is no wriggle room in the budget for these costs:(

Yeah, but you'll send one letter out and make that straight back! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My Dad always says he wishes he'd been a solicitor - generally after receiving a bill! Good that things are moving at a pace :T0 -
