Good luck with the laptop, I hope it lasts - certainly sounds like you've done something right! And the Mothers' Union - eek! I have no idea what that might be like, but I'm trusting you to wear the right thing :rotfl:
I have a family diving story! Not very nice tho - one of my great uncles was a diver for the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board during the warhe had some very gruesome retrievals .... I hope your OH was a sport diver, yes? :j

We were watching a program last night about how they train the most elite divers in the US forces. They had them under the water in blacked out masks, pushing and shoving them, turning them upside down, removing the air supply to simulate bad weather and the worst they could face for half an hour, they take them to complete exhaustion and almost black out to show you can go further than you think. I'll stick to a paddling pool thank you very much .
Being a vicars wife must be less stressful and dangerous unless you have to choose between 2 parishioners cakes as to who bakes the best :rotfl:.
Not sure about less stress but certainly less dangerous and at least he is not away for a couple of months at a time. No I don't judge cake competitions far too risky :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Did think about getting t shirt made for OH's ordination which said on the back I don't do sconeswell I don't but I have made Mars Bar cake for tonight's installation of a new vicar:)

No OH was a professional diver and he has some horror stories to share including one he shared on the way to Holyhead on Saturday that a diver died when he got stuck in an equalisation tunnel under the causeway won't be able to drive over it now without thinking about that:eek:
