Hi DT and Very Happy Silver Wedding Anniversary to you and your lovely hubby.
Sounds like a perfect day and so lovely that you are to renew your vows - that is so special :A

Hopefully 17 years from now we will do the same and I'll think of you. Enjoy the rest of your day xx

What a lovely day you sound like you've had! And you didn't go mad either - maybe you've permanently changed the taste bud setttings? That would be nice.

Have a lovely evening too. Are your rings the same style as each other?

I hope you are right about the taste buds I still feel full and it was not a huge meal so that's good :D

The rings are identical plain palladium which I had not heard of before but OH wanted a silver colour and we have set the date for the blessing 22nd December which is the 29th anniversary of us first going out.

    how wonderful
  • Well it is day three of the 50 day challenge and as I have had a slow start so far I need to up the pace today as it is my only completely free day until Monday - hair tomorrow, clinic Friday, course and hopefully MSE meet up Saturday and church Sunday.

So today I plan to do at least 5 hours of paperwork starting at 9am which gives me time to grab a coffee and finish my pootle round the threads.

It will also hopefully help my sleeping which despite having much earlier nights than I used to thanks to giving up FB games and having an extra early night last night as I was dead on my feet I am not sleeping well as my brain keeps processing all the stuff that needs to be done so if I do it hopefully the sleep will come:)

Have a good day everyone I will report back at lunchtime how I am doing.

Good luck with it all - I know what you mean about stuff going round - its not *worry* exactly, its just the mind nattering....
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • Well reporting in on my progress so far. I am giving myself a break until 2pm.

I have completed 4 hours of paperwork. I have sorted 2 out of 5 plastic tubs which are filled with random mixed up papers. Just basically dumped them in there to quickly tidy up :o

I have submitted the annual return to the Charity Commission.:D

I have compiled the Charity newsletter and these are printing away happily :j

So a very productive morning and I am happy with what I have achieved so far.

I have also received two telephone calls about kits for kids one from a lady who is going to put a request on freecycle. Another from a vicar whose local school are giving away a full set of kit as they were too big for them so I am going with her to pick them up at the school assembly and they are going to put it in the paper so hopefully that may lead to more shirts. Also had an email from another lady to say that she is scouring charity shops :A

So a very positive day thank you Universe.

Off to finish my pootle round the threads I was very good this morning closed MSE down at 9am even though I was halfway trough a thread :rotfl::rotfl:

Then at 2pm back to the paperwork.

    See you later folks

Right my paperwork is over with for today.

I did six and a half hours and I can't believe how much I got done. I have had to stop now because the printer can't keep up with my output so I have a backlog of printing to do :D and I need the printer to be finished as there are a few things I need to scan. Hopefully I can keep an eye on it during the evening so it is all done ready to start again tomorrow.

I have prepared the overview of the accounts ready to go out with the newsletter and that is ready to print.

I have done the banking for the charity.

I have updated the mailing list.

So the job for tomorrow is to print the details with regard to the Christmas appeal once I have scanned the card design in so that can go out with all the newsletters.

Print the labels from the mailing list will do that tonight if the printer finishes in time.

Then I have to write a letter to go with the mailings a standard letter but will have to be personalised and extras added for certain sponsors/donors to reply to queries provide information etc so quite a time consuming task but once that is done I shall be fully up to date on my charity work :j

Had a very unexpected card and letter from the adoption social worker which was very complimentary and very sweet can't believe it a social worker who cares about foster carers but it made me cry :o

    Still we are doing OK.

I have also made some plans about decorating my little girl's room so need to go and look at carpets tomorrow so that we can decide on the exact shade of pink:eek: and work out the paint we need for the walls and some furniture we are going to give a makeover to. Also need to look for some blinds. Going to go and get her a wardrobe from IKEA on Saturday.

I am really pleased with how day 3 of the 50 day challenge has gone I don't feel behind any more:beer:
