:eek::eek: Can't see Mum getting ready in the Ladies or Reception and we can't have you getting arrested en masse!

Are any other family members staying the night before the wedding (or daft enough to pay the extortionate amount)? Would they agree to let you change in their room?

No everybody is staying just the one night and everyone else is fairly local so they won't need to change beforehand it will be hard for them to arrest 3 children and 6 adults including my mother it would be fun to see them try though I am just hoping they take pity on us but otherwise we will leave mom until last and the rest of us will manage in the loos as long as I get time to do all the kids the rest of us should be fine.

Well it is 9.30 and I haven't opened my emails yet so I am learning patience :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (but I am about to)

Contact been cancelled for the little one today so a bit more distraction whilst I tackle the paperwork pile that has appeared overnight  but as mine are still off school too it won't make much of a difference

Waiting for a cheque to arrive although I think it will be in Euros can I pay an Euro cheque into a bank account? research needed before I waste a trip to the bank.

No this is my nephew's wedding still haven't decided on a date for our renewal :o

Well I have checked the Euro position there will be a fee for paying into our account but I don't know how much so I will have to see what the exchange rate is and whether they have sent enough to cover the fee before I pay it in why they couldn't just send a bank transfer I don't know :( and it will take longer to clear and with all these bank holidays I will have to check that too as it is a payment for the villa just the sort of hassle I don't need hope it arrives today because I have a busy day tomorrow.

  • Thats are real shame about the cheque. They were saying yesterday about how long clearing times are with the bank holidays all falling together, I am much prefering bacs or bank transfers. although I think one person who pays me uses the postage and clearing time to allow for a cheque to clear in her account to cover it which could go a bit oops one day.

Try and have a lovely time at the wedding, we've got one too.

  • I have posted on your diary YAHM about the inspiration you have given me to put my smallest debt in my sig as my target debt as I have been bothered about the fact that there is no debt aim in my sig but to put the total debt figure in is just too depressing at the moment especially as it will go down so slowly. So Capital One CC is the aim it is at 0%. We now only have the mortgage and 2 ccs but the other cc is huge and the 0% on the capital one runs out first so it seems sensible to tackle that first although I have just realised i have not made a note of when it runs out :o so have sent a request to them

    Off to change signature

Why is life never simple just decided above plan of action when I decided to check how overdrawn we were before payday we have a couple of payments due to go in during the next couple of days so wanted to see if we would actually be out of overdraft by payday only to find I was more overdrawn than expected on closer inspection it was because the minimum payment to MBNA had quadrupled on checking online it is because they have decided to change the way they calculate minimum payments which is a good thing as previously very little was paid off but the massive increase in minimum payments is  so I think this will now have to be the target card as even with the minimum payment we will be clearing over £150 a month off the card this is going to affect the budgets starting on Sunday too good job I hadn't finalised them as I wanted to know the bank balance first back to the drawing board me thinks

    So target now is MBNA

Off to change signature again :(

  • At least you spotted it, its still just one target to work on and think about while the rest ticks over.

Thanks for popping by my door x
