I know you'll be mega stressed when you are there, but if you want some company for an hour let me know and I'll come to Alder Hey to meet you.
Thanks Gill we should just be there overnight if all goes to plan but a lot of finger biting will be happening I know. Still we need to know.
We have had a lovely quiet holiday just a pity that OH is still no better so back to the doctors for him in the morning

Well I have done it I have submitted the job application thinking about it was much worse than doing it there is no date set for interviews so i don't know how long I will have to wait until I hear something.
If this is unsuccessful I will then produce a CV and send it round to likely employers and see what happens.
I am getting there just need a bit of luck now so positive vibes from the Universe please

Of course I am not obsessively refreshing my email inbox just in case especially as today is only the closing day
I mean that would be crazy wouldn't it?
I have been checking out suits and there are a couple of shops in my local (OK not local) but my nearest outlet village that will need to be visited should an interview happen a girl has to be prepared after all I was a girl guide.
Been out today and had to buy three pairs of shoes for my kids ouchy ouchy. Also rang the hotel where we are staying for the wedding not a happy bunny they are charging me £10 to put a cot in our room which they admit will be overcrowded  also asked them if we could have one of the four rooms we have booked half an hour early so that we can get changed ready for the wedding after our trip down err yes if we want to pay £75 err I don't think so :mad: hope this is not a sign of things to come as my sister in law (mother of the groom) has already said it is not very posh - I realise they are having to stick to a budget which is fine just hope they are not being ripped off if my experience above is anything to go byanyway I am not going to let it ruin the day but it is going to be a very expensive weekend as we have to take two cars as well still we will get pay cheque on Thursday although of course it won't clear for yonks and as it is 25 years since the last family wedding I attended (ours) I am looking forward to seeing the family.

I hope you are not paying to get in the room early, that is extorionate
My sister and I always travel in jeans and get ready when we get there for any occasion that requires dressing up, we just usually take over the toilets! But she has been known to change in the Car Park on a hot day and when Mum complained she said that Bra/Knickers were no different to a bikini so what was the issue :rotfl:
I am sure it will be a lovely day and a spendy day for the first family wedding in 25 years has to be done IMO:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

Not quite the same thing, but my Dad used to tell my sister off for wandering round the house in her underwear and she used to shout that we'd just been on holiday and she'd worn far less and she'd been out in public and he hadn't objected.
25 years since the last family wedding - we're not much better brother was married in 1988. There has been cousins since then, but nothing that we got invited to the daytime for. Now they're all grown up it will all start again.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0

No of course I am not paying I just couldn't and I have changed in the middle of a high street when I was late for a church service before now the trouble is we will have my 95 year old mother with us but we will manage somehow. A strip in reception might get them to waive the fee :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
or get me arrested

:eek::eek: Can't see Mum getting ready in the Ladies or Reception and we can't have you getting arrested en masse!
Are any other family members staying the night before the wedding (or daft enough to pay the extortionate amount)? Would they agree to let you change in their room?:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0
