I use 30 deg for my dark washes and 40 deg for my lights/whites as I find they don't come clean at 30 deg.

My washer doesn't have a 30 degree setting0

I wash at 30 and don't have a problem. I use Asda 2in1 tablets and they dissolve easily.0

I tried 30c for a while but things just weren't clean enough, so I have gone back to 40c for clothes. I use 95c for dishcloths and tea towels, but this is only every couple of weeks when I've used up all the ones in the drawer!0

Use the 30 degree quick wash for most items, only lasts about half an hour aswell which is another plus. Hot wash I do to keep machine ok and put the cloths in at the same time.
I've been using bold or soap nuts lately and gets it all clean, bold seems to disolve fine. Use cheap ASDA smart price for cloths etc and that disolves ok too.
I also use much less powder than stated, a little coffee spoon full, so no excess to try to disolve. Works fine for me even with 2 boys who're always getting clothes filthy. One day I might be more organised...........

I don't wash at 30 degrees because the soap powder doesn't dissolve and lighter items were not looking clean. 40 degrees works fine.0

Every now and again I wash clothes which are not muddy/dirty but which have just been worn at 30 degrees.
I've never had a problem with the powder not disolving and until I read this hadn't heard of that either.
At the monent I'm using a bulked out mix of Persil, Asda Smart Price and Soda Crystals.0 -
I vary. I do most washing at 30 or 40. Undies at 60 and once a week do a boil wash at 90 - mainly because I do believe my machine needs to be flushed through of all powder residue - I do not put much powder in this wash and I'm always surprised at how sudsy the wash is...
