Thanks Dr_Cuckoo3. That information must only just have been posted online because I looked several times to find the information.
Its a hidden link , hence the application form asks for your customer ID number - whereas the normal First Reserve form does notHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Does anyone know how to close the e-savings online - I transferred the money out but it still shows in my list with 0.00 credit. I would like to lose it from the list but can't face ringing Natwest.0

So have I
e mailed them with a complaint, they have not bothered to reply, says it all really most likely the same reason it took me nearly 9 weeks to open the account in the first place because they lost all my I/D details then found them much later.0 -
About £14k in mine and no letter yet. If I don't get one the money moves out to a different bank.0

No letter for me either. As I opened it on 5th October 2010 I presume I won't be getting one so will move it to the Derbyshire. Shame as I found it very useful once up and running and the faster payments in and out were very convenient.0

Unless I am mistaken (which is always possible given the ealier confusion over when the bonus applies), if you opened the account on October 5th 2010, the bonus runs from 15th Nov 2010 until 14 Nov 2011. As you still have over a month before the bonus period ends, I would not expect you to receive a letter for a few weeks. I wonder whether people who have received this letter opened their accounts in September 2010?0 -
I opened my account on 30th September and received a letter. I keep between £5-8000 in it.0

From the horses mouth (Nat West) today, only customers that opened their accounts on the 29/30 sep 2010 are getting letters but wait for it new e savings rates are being announced next week and they are supposed to better than the out going 2.89%.
I would be interested to see if any letters went to customers with other opening dates that would suggest that the info is not exactly true.
Talk to customer services or the on line chat line they are more chatty than the last time I asked the same questions (monday)0
