Leaving aside the "Ireland" issue which goes away after 1NOV10, I would want more than 0.01% to compensate for BACS withdrawals to one nominated account rather than Faster Payments to any UK bank account that accepts Faster Payments.0

It's not worth the risk for 0.01%0 -
I was also offered a one off payment straight in to my account for the difference they reckon I'd lose out on with interest due to the incorrect rates being quoted
Its good they are starting to show cracks on this (to be honest they don't have a leg to stand on with all the contradictory information).0 -

Introductory bonus offer no longer available w.e.f. tomorrow.
I must admit I am surprised that the offer hasn't lasted longer.0 -

What an utter shambles!0 -
The website has removed the 'bonus' rate now! I received my application form today after applying on Friday would I still qualify for the bonus rate when I sent it back?
Not sure if this is worth it now!
Just read the brochure too sceptic001 and your right, not sure if I trust them to give me the right interest rate though...0 -

Also just spotted that they have ended the offer on the NatWest website. Clearly they have reviewed it (congratulations NatWest, maybe you can do something right...) and realised that the whole thing was a complete mess, not just the leaflet being inconsistent but the AER rate not being possible due to the potential month and a half of no bonus payment if you opened an account on the 1st of the month and had to wait until the 15th of the following month.
I still await to hear what they're going to do about my complaint, and I'm not prepared to accept a one-off payment that they have offered as I'll be saving more than my initial deposit (and already am saving considerably more).
Maybe a new offer will be better...0 -
Website now reads...
Including 1.85% bonus Limited period offer for customers who applied for an e-Savings account between 29 September 2010 and 20 October 2010.
Nice to see the brochure and website tie up...not0 -
