i have now got about 90% of the christmas toys for my 3 children, i just hope play.com actually delivers as 3 of the items i ordered with them are not in stock yet but my orders gone through...just waiting
it was the cheapest place for the sylvanian car to go with her caravan...the only downside is i have looked at what i have got and there doesnt seem to be much there even though i have spent alot...2 of my kids have december birthdays too so i have to spread the gifts over the 2 occasions...i need some stocking fillers, pyjamas etc, my dd is crazy about hello kitty so may have to look for some sweets etc to fill out her pressies....i just cant wait to get all this stuff sorted so i can sit back and relax...

I wouldn't rely on Play, in any shape or form. They are great when they have items in stock. When they say awaiting stock, that could mean anything. Let down badly by them pre xmas last year...............Caveat Emptor!!Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -
thanks, yeah they let me down last year actually withe the hamsters, if i can find the sylvanian car for similar price i will cancel it was £13.79 delivered, they are normally around £20, i can get the blue one £20 on 3 for 2 in boots but dont really need anything else from there, it would be good if they had them boots instore as i have loads of advantage points to spend...but i dont remeber seeing sylvanians instore last time i looked0

Bullseye is in stock at the Entertainer for £44.99.
Thanks just ordered this, not sure I need it but my ds was asking if we could get it for dd, if I don't buy it I will probably struggle later. There's a 5% discount code available too taking it down to £42.74 delivered bit better seeing as they are charging more than other retailers. http://www.toyshopuk.co.uk/shops/featured/entertainer.php0 -
Fully agree play.com are a nightmare, let me down badly with go go hamsters last year and some DVD's and also littlewoods with the hamster play centre, kept saying they had them coming, until finally many a week later with xmas fast approaching rang them and insisted they cancelled, go it from TRU in the end but it was a close shave, littlewoods had the money:D0

Not sure if this helps but if you want to order the one from Boots with points you can do this at the photo counter and then have it delivered to store so no delivery charge! If you do want to do this, take the code in store with you as it saves a lot a time! HTH!0 -

hi guys, what a mind blowing thread!! Can't concur on most of the toys - monster dolls look spooky and lalaloopsy looks butt ugly to me too. Eugh! Who invents these things?? thank goodness my girl is only 4 and thinks the disney shop is heaven.
I do like hexbugs though they loook cool.
Anyhow we are big on toy story - kids got DH Buzz; we got them woody, jesse, Bullseye, slinky, some soldiers, the dinasaur...hunting for ham on ebay (going for silly money).
Can't find a sensible sized potato head anywhere they are all enormous and not to scale (we are so fussy!!) I want one about 6-7" max. Would really like some monkeys too does anyone know where they are available apart from amazon where postage is £5-10?
Also are hexbugs only available online?0 -
