    Sneaks back in :hello:

Had a tiring week taking mum from Scarborough to Hull for radiotherapy every day, now I've got a few days to myself at home, time to catch up on all the telly I've missed.

    Hope everyone's well x

There's another Dressing room (bedroom) and En-suite off of this room.

Well not meaning to sound off, I am getting grief from Mrs Handy about moving Oop North. I am getting Grief from Lady Hooray about Mrs H wanting to move. Old friends who have offered us a place to run as a B&B want us to pay £900 per month rent and look after 2 teenage boys and occasionally one 13 year old with severe learning disabilities. I get into bother cause I say I will not move until I have a job to go to that will support us. I get told that I am not looking hard enough. Doesn't seem to register that there are 2 - 3 million unemployed, and Oop North I will struggle to earn £ 6.00 per hour.

It's all to do to with wanting to be nearer the grandkids. SIL, grow's herbal tobacco and sells dodgy diesel and they are always skint. DD was moaning on FB that he BIL hasn't paid back a loan they made him, but no mention of the £300 they borrowed from Mrs Handy for kids Xmas prezzy's or the long weekend in Edinburgh, or the £300 for take that tickets.

BTW. Flash they want Flash the Lab dog back who lives in the garden or garage next to the herbal machine:mad: who doesn't go for a walk from one month to the next since the Kids came along.

Son Trapfly called today the first time since borrowing (that's what the kids call it) £200 until his insurance paid out for his bike. He's not working at the moment can it wait a little longer.;)

I have re-jigged my weekend so I can do a course Oop North, didn't go well even though we have to take 3 dogs 2 of whom are ill, sleep on other peoples floors and supply our own food ( and our hosts). We could do it in 2 days but Mrs H insists she want's a long weekend, so she can go round the estate agent's looking for somewhere to rent.

If my life was on a soap, you would complain to the writers it was too far fetched.

Sorry for the rant, but now you know why I'm not around much.

    Cheers all, Handy.:D (grinning just).

Brilliant job on the decorating, it looks fab:j

Re your other post, what a predicament to be in:eek:

Mrs H no doubt wants to be nearer to her family because of what happened with her mum but she's not seeing reason and how you're going to get her to do that is the $64,000 question:(

The B&B probably looks good if you're desperately wanting to move but there are so many strings attached and, if you do make any money out of it, there's a good chance a lot of it will be "lent":(

I don't think there's an easy solution to your problem, all I can say is you know where we are if you need a rant.

    Thinking about you..
    Take care

Crikey Handy. That is so difficult. I'm glad to hear you have said you are not moving until you have a job that can support you. But appreciate that's no good when it's not being heard.

Is sitting down and doing some serious number crunching together likely to help? I know it's very hard if Mrs H's heart is ruling her head. :(

Gentle hugs to ill doglets from me. :( Hope they are bounding round and rallying your spirits very soon.

And Mrs Hooray is obviously just running scared that she'll never find any handyman as fabulous as Handyman123!

I'm sorry I've no inspirational ideas for you. But betwen us all, we've a pretty solid sounding board and you know where we are.

    Take care :)
