Oh for the days when jeans were tight and fitted properly around the crotch. Grumpy old Handy would make it compulsory for all under 25 blokes to wear belts and braces, and no crotch to be lower than 28 inches from the floor.:eek::eek::eek:

Grandson Jake is a fine example, Handy takes the pish to no effect when ever I see him. He doesn't mind, he know's I'm a fossil.:rotfl:

Notice to all my MSE Mates who have to drive tomorrow morning. Please be careful. I have just come in from walking the dogglies and the courtyard and cobbles around the Handy's cottage would make Torville and Dean feel at home. It's like an Ice Rink :eek::eek::eek:

Now I'm down in the South West, but according to the forecast there could be ice just about anywhere. Take care on the back roads, and don't even trust the main roads in patches where they don't get the sun.

Lady Hooray is off on a 150 mile round trip to collect some antiques she got at auction last week. She say's she want's to be away early.:eek:

Personally I wouldn't go anywhere until after the rush hour. I know what its like to skid on black ice and | was doing less than 20 mph, and still managed to write the car off on the only lamp post for 5 miles.

These days I would rather not risk it.

Lecture over, back to something brighter. How are you all. Where's GB, is she on holiday again? I'm missing out on me morning coffee and snacks:)

Having just crashed my car this evening, I'll re-iterate Handy's warning!

My fault - traffic lights green, moving off, heard police sirens, looked to see where they were, didn't see car in front stop, icy road... no stopping distance. :(:( Luckily my speed wasminiscule and we were all ok but I feel terrible.

So take care out there!
