Morning all...just to let you all know Erme is still in the land of the living :D

I didn't notice the so called thaw yesterday...LOL..I didn't notice x factor; jungle nutters or cricket :)..I only notice the cricket when I switch on radio 4 which won't be today cos it's Sabbath :)...

Sleeping a little better than hospital - yay and made some yummy peanut bars cos I was hungry last night :)....Also not worried about bread shortages (apparently no bread in Dalkeith yesterday :rotfl: Ed has ground to a halt ha ha ha) cos I have about 4 packets of hovis in gotten ages ago from Approved foods; some yeast etc. I shall be just peachy...More worried about a nut crisis (can't get to Mr A due to weather).

Also had a good pm making cards :)..have about 30 on my list..am really enjoying making them. Praise God for double sided. Also fixes food processors....and then I had an espresso in the Mars Bar..:D

Now time for breakkie.......catch ya tomorrow with a seal or two for breakfast (sure handy can find one in the pond once he's dug himself out)...with all these fuel shortages soon I reckon even red's claret will have to be used for WALLOP (We are Lester's Lovely Overnight PPL)

Only thing that caused a tv crisis btw was one enjoying Jeremy K on Thurs - think that warrants a life sentence...

Morning. I'm trying to talk myself into going out into the cold and stocking up at Mr.T's, to take advantages of the clear roads while I can, but it looks cold out there!

I'm also going to get insurance, one of my neighbours was burgled last night, so if I can get a reasonable price then I'll get it.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I've done it now. I tried four places, two couldn't give me a quote (because I live in a concrete flat which throws them for some reason), one was £360  and the other was £106, so I went with that.

Pania's wise words once again x

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

    What is a Troll?
A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made. If you should get such a comment made on any thread you post, asking for help and advice, please realise this comment is not directed at you personally so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal because the majority of us really are a lovely bunch – ooops, modesty!

What should I do if I get a comment made on my thread?
Firstly do not respond to the comment as this is invariably what the troll wants. So to get rid of the offending post, at the bottom of the post towards the right hand side you’ll see a red "Warning" triangle within a blue “Abuse” icon, as shown below:
    report.gif

Click the icon and then "send" the message which will inform the abuse team of the post, who will then review its content and deal with it as appropriate; sometimes even deleting the troll by making their status PPR’d (Posting Privileges Removed). Remember, this site is an asset to so many people, especially those that feels like their world is falling in around them. There is a wealth of knowledgeable people here all willing to help, whatever you do, do not let the comments of one silly individual deter you from availing yourself of the knowledge base that is on offer here.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE FORUM

It is testament to the work that Martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time, knowledge and experience freely to others; without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of their debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT
