Good Evening All. Time to stoke up the fire close the curtains and go into hibernation. Is anyone else having post trouble. Our mail has only arrived once in 5 days even though the lane has been clear. Our relief postie is an idle S*d who leaves everyones post at my cottage for me to distribute to half the postcode. I recon he is using the weather as an excuse.

The bright side to this is just think of all the fishing letters from the DCA's that are piling up in the sorting office's as well as Handy's electric bill.
There has to be a good side to everything.:D

Nope, no problems with post here. I didn't get anything on the worst day, but that could have just been normal. But I am only a couple of streets away from the sorting office and the Postie goes round on foot.

Cheers Ames, our post is on a van round. Regular chap is great, typical west country he even wears Post Office issue shorts in this weather. Trouble only starts when he has his rota days off.

Back in a while, just watching last part of I'm a celebrity. Oh happy days when Handy did his jungle training.:eek::eek::eek:

We didn't get post today. But I don't think the rest of Scotland did either! My friend is still stuck in traffic... 9 hours and counting after they closed the school he works at.

Thankfully my work base is within walking distance. Lots of people tramping the length and breadth of the city today! I had a leisurely hour stroll compared to others! I spoke to many of them as we pushed random cars out of their respective wheel spins so they could slowly crawl closer to the gridlock.

Time to get the hot water bottle and curl up for zzzzzzzzs methinks!

Looking forward to reading a Handy jungle story when I wake up

Tixy, I've never heard of pre-icer either, hope it works tomorrow it can't have been much fun trying to de-ice your car this morning.
