Found my pencil etc that I'd lost on coffee table and don't really want to do any more housework but guess I'd better do the other half of the coffee table - even if it's just shifting bank statements and the like elsewhere for sorting...

So trip to the bookshop pm (pending what time postie turns up :mad:) and then (cos am seriously skint) trip to Mr S for a 75p medicine fix, knit and afternoon read...:D

Off to see Mam in Care Home this afternoon with my neice - since she went in on Wednesday afternoon, she has slept and slept and slept - hopefully she will be awake today so we can talk to her - poor thing must have been exhausted after those 3 weeks in hospital. Mind you she has woke up when staff have fed her but they say her fluid intake is too low so they put a fluid line into her tummy last night (not allowed an IVT drip) she is on comfort care only as we now realise that these 20 beds being part of the larger care home, are in fact the 'End-of-Life' unit of the hospital effectively - she is still classed as being in hospital as it is funded by NHS Primary Care Trust
