To those who only have central heating or electric. Would you want to be moved away from this, even if only a Cat.:D



Mind you we have no other form of heating, if we use electric heaters during the day it costs a fortune, but the evenings are cosy.:D

Don't tell Mrs Handy I posted this, she will play heck up that I never dusted or moved the joss stick holder off the hearth before inviting you in.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Morning all...Broadband down...praise God for V 3g dongle (payg) that I got a few years ago that I haven't topped up since and still works ....

So hoping everyone is well...just been sitting here for the last hour without net drinking coffee and restarting my sock from silver's sock class (so far so good - 2nd attempt ) that I spent half an hour doing last night only to restart and then I sleepily got Hodge read @ 9pm only to not read bibe :eek:...

So just popping by to say hi ...soon be time for shower then breakkie and QT...then on with the am chores...

Was too busy to get ginger and lemon yesterday so they'll be on the list for this chest infection busting toddy tonight :j...

Handy with regards the cat - are you sure it wasn't Lady Hooray

That fire looks lovely and cosy Handy, let Mrs Handy know that i'll be round tonight with slippers and hot choc in hand. Is there anything i can bring?.. Fine bottle of Cognac perhaps?..

Good Morning All, Broadband seems a little slow this morning. Maybe the storm has damaged the line again. I expect that when I take the Dogs ( and Cat) out for their walk I will find some damage to the garden or property. One of my terriers got blown off her paws last night.

We had several fallow deer take shelter in our little wood. The seem to prefer our bit to the Pine plantation when it gets like this. I expect the will have nibbled the young Rose bushes. Lady H won't like that.

Time for another Coffee, catch you all later.

Hi Erme, No it wasn't Lady Hooray, not unless her Tenna's had leaked.
I thought you would know by now that Lady H wouldn't do anything like that, she would get some one to do it for her!:eek:

Hope you are feeling better, keep taking the Hot Tody's. Are you using the e ciggy much? I got one a couple of months ago and It makes me cough more than the real thing.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Och I obviously need an orange smartie then this am :rotfl:

When I cough I absolutely hack my guts out (so you can imagine the chest infection) cos I smoke like I speak - really quickly...so the hollow cough of the e-cig is much preferred..

Wheezy today just catching up on posts before doing some chores...

Got a scare about my elec usuage yesterday when I took the meter readings for the month so will need more storage heater and less fan heater regardless this next month..yes when elec prices are going up E is trying to get her elec down :T...but when you consider she's practically not used the storage heaters for 10 years and just used a fan heater this is not as impossible as it sounds

Anyhow catch yas all laters....hope it's not too cold this am o/s and postie turns up with parcels....
