    Morning all.
Hubby now on a boat to scotland and won't be back until 3am tomorrow. I left him up to be lifted this morning and then kids on to school. I went in and told DS2 i wasn't leaving until he found his jumper, it told him 5 minutes yet he never remembers to bring it home.

While i was in the headteacher wanted to speak to me about DD, i know i'd be called in at some point. DD seems to be really worried about highschool (she's only in P.6) and is very stressed. The girl that is tormenting DD went crying to the teacher yesterday, so cue for me being told ( i knew anyway as dd told me). It's all being put down on DD and they think it is furstation(sp) thats causing all the problems.

Right best get ready to lift DD for her appointment.:(

    msgnomey big hugs.
juliejim thats awful for DS, that unfair to make you but the cream on, surely the hospital could have done it and have you's in abit earlier. Big hugs about your hamster.
    Pigpen what an awful day.
Mumto5 what a nightmare, hope you get all returned and refunded and replaced.
    Hugs PenPen.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

quick few questions about cleaning if you ladies dont mind.

what does everyone find best to clean doors with? ive just been using an antibac cleaning wipe will that do?

I use a microfibre cloth and plain water. It lifts most things. I use a little bit of diluted vinegar (white painted wood) for tough grotty bits (childrens grotty finger marks).

also my front door has a little porch thing over it that gets covered in cobwebs and just dirt, how would you recommend cleaning that, im tempted to take the hoover to it, but im not sure that would be the best way to do it?

I use a long handled fluffy duster (think Ken Dodd). I then pull all the cobwebs off with rubber gloves on (lots of spiders).

    Hope this helps.

    thanks

Vanilla - I feel your fustration! Some schools are just useless

Much better day today. I had a phone call from DS1's maths teacher and he has been remarked up to a C in Maths! I danced round the kitchen like a loony!

I've also registered for the Moonwalk with 2 friends! So excited! I will have to finally devise a signature to update my progress etc.

In between 101 text/phone/computer glitches (Moonwalk website was jammed). I have WM x 2 and TD x 1.

Need to get organised to get to DD2's therapist and make some lunch for DS2 who is still off school. The Moonwalk is the night before his birthday so I'll be a tad tired on the day. It's usually the climax of the youth football season so I'm going to be a mess that week!
