Funny old day. We woke up to a police car and private ambulance outside the house. Our phone rang incessantly as worried NN's checked we were all ok. It was for the family who are renting the house behind us, they're a couple with 2 primary age children, they are very private and the children never play on the green. All the curtains are drawn, its very sad:(
A day with all my children at school .... I happily skipped off shopping with a DF only to find my phone covered in messages, calls, FB notifications etc. Could I pick up DS2 from school at lunchtime. I was going to keep him off until Wednesday but when I called the rabble for dinner last night he was found playing football on the green outside the house.
Minimal flying done today. Kitchen has been s/s and I've tidied the little ones room.
I have to see DD2's therapist tomorrow - her hair pulling has intensified recently probably due to starting school anxieties. I will also try and get some credit out of M&S for some unworn school trousers that DS3 has outgrown before he could wear them. I've lost the receipt (of course) but they still have the tags and they are £12 each.
DS3's new Nintendo DSi is broken:mad:. the screen is frozen so that is going back as well. It's only a week old!!!0 -
Gah, what a day.....very long day, didn't get in until 8.30pm, totally crackered.
It's one of those weeks guys, lets just grin and bear it.
Had tea, done 100's of miles and its getting beyond boring with no radio, will have to sort this soon.
Sounds like everyone's had a bit of day. xDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

hello all
very very very busy but have flashed through the thread
Special hugs Crafty and MSGNomey
Hope the big O are gone and were happy Mrs C
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Lots of people came, ate lots of food (but sadly not all of it) and messed up my hitherto immaculate house- still I care not. I am gradually returning things to order - fruit bowl was returned to the kitchen this morning, f'rinstance. Table cloths and teatowels were hung out in the mist this morning in the hope that they's dry - well they were dry enough to iron so THAT'S been done.
I am the proud owner of a troll beads bracelet, a Blue John necklace and other fine jewels and ladythings (but nothing risque) , oh and wine, and cava, and CHAMPAGNE which I couldn''t open on the day becaus eit had been in the footwell of my nephew's car and would need to chill prior to opening (so i will just have to drink it mine own self then;)

Have been very organised tonight and written all my Christmas lists, budget up until Christmas and also a list of what needs to be done in each room. I am so determined to be all sorted by Crimbo! . Got 2 different lists - 1 is house stuff the other is 'other stuff'! I am planning on doing one thing off my MASSIVE lists each day on top of flying. I also have my daily lists so think i maybe a busy girl!! So tomorrow i'm meeting a friend for coffee at retail park. Can kill 2 birds with 1 stone by buying DS vests and DD2 t-shirts for school as she hasn't got enough. Need to buy shampoo and conditioner, some paint and bit of veg. All can be done there. Am going to tackle PC,desk etc. This lives in a big cupboard so is our little office. Can't actually get in there so its a big blitz! Got 3 important phone calls to make but quick ones thank goodness! Then my one thing is going to be painting dolls bunk beds i got for DD2. No excuse, primed and ready so need to get my butt into gear! Anyway enough of the ramble! Hugs to those that need. Nighty night.xxxIf music be the food of love then play on"No matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow". ღ ~Maya AngelouDoing it for my kids.
