Quaverface is Tiddles.. DD5.. She is only Tiddles on here normally I call her Quaverface and have done since she was a few hours old.

Musical quavers or cheesy, crunchy quavers? :D If the former, perhaps I should rename DD quarternote - she's certainly crochety enough for the name! :D

Watch The Bloke (who does not get on with anything made of glass - as my lampshades, ornaments and other items made of the stuff can testify :() manhandle my glass doored bookcase down 5 flights of stairs and squeeze it into a Fiesta hatchback.

Oh yes, I have also had my last driving lesson before my test  The instructor is confident I'll pass - as long as I don't let my nerves get the better of me.

And even down here, it's pretty much slithy tove weather.

How many of us are in the process of moving? There's a few suffering, I think! Maybe there should be a Flylady Relocation thread.....

  • Wow, I feel I've made so much progress working alongside everyone today. Really much better than trying to motivate yourself, and feeling a bit lonely about it all!
Got the chicken stock done in the slow cooker, two hams baked, and made some headway with the VAT and accounts. Still have to sort out downstairs hall somewhat, but I need DH to carry things up to the shop store, as I absolutely refuse to climb the slippy iron staircase to it, and he's more used to it than I am!
Diddly74- Hope the exam went well, was thinking of you.
