All outside back windows cleaned, so something off my list. It's nice and sunny here today so i'm defo cutting the front hedges when i get back from appointment and i might even mow the grass.
I'll get as much done off my list after school and then do the flylady tonight when the kids are in bed, should work out easier. :rotfl:
Right best go and see if there is any post.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

Mmmm, not sure about that. My flitting is more a distraction technique, as I'm waiting for a phone call about a car, and it's rather ineffectual at best. Maybe I should go for 'bum stuck to seat and read a magazine I've been given' mood. It would be flying in a way as I could then pass the magazine on!
Rach - he's beautiful. Congratulations a million times over. Enjoy xx0 -
Rach - congratulations, really pleased that your DH is supporting you so much, it makes a huge difference to your recovery
I want to clean out and wash DHs company car (in the rain!) as it is being collected tomorrow. He has been too depressed to do it, and he thinks he is doing it tonight so I am being nice for once. HHC at 2.30 anyone?
Then I am going to have a lovely discussion with DS1 about the £40 itunes bill he has run up . My own fault for forgetting to delete the credit card details last time I did a paid for download but he knows that downloading without my permission is stealing. I can't find his ipod to confiscate it, but he wont be getting it back till he has paid me off. At £2 a week pocket money (he is 7) this may take some time .'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Hugs PenPen.

Oh, no  DS knows my password, but he's also aware that he mustn't buy/download without my express permissionCan you enlist your DS in some tasks he can do, but you'd really rather not - cleaning the loo, pulling leaves from drains, wasing up?
I'll join you in a HH-polytunnel :hello::rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Oh Rach he is gorgeous, congratulations. Make the most of DH helping and relax u deserve it
Well I only managed 1/2 my ironing pile but I now have a horrible stress headachenot sure if its due to the amount of information I just received! The visit went well, she got to see how DS is at home everyday (his TV obsession!) and she is going to try and get him some speech therapy and also see if his appointment at the hospital can b moved forward. I now have loads and loads to read lol
DD1 is at school til 4 today as shes at Eco Club, so I think I need to get off my bum and finish the ironing and wash up. If I have time I will try to attack my room, might just leave it as when LR day comes there won't b much to do in hereTotal Debt at LBM - £19107.03Total now - £11091.220 -

Whew, I'm shattered! I knew our bedroom would be a huge challenge as I've not done anything except scatter things about in it for the past year. Three hours later, and I'm still stubbornly at it, but I think I've broken the back of it. Must now speak to DH about his four huge piles of computer mags gathering dust monsters by the side of the bed. Cuppy and a sit down time I think.
Congratulations and hugs btw, and glad your DH is so happy and helpful!Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -
How did you get on hex?
In my slightly longer than HH-polytunnel (got caught in a downpour)
- dug all indoor carrots
- picked more courgettes, tomatoes and a cucumber (plants still cropping, so will be saved from composting for another week
)
- watered DH's peas and other indoor plants
- picked herbs for tonight's tea
- collected eggs
- chooks fed and watered
- picked apples for storage

Juliejim (((HUGS)))
Msgnomey very best wishes for your op; I hope the appt went ok this morning; it must be very scary for you - sending coping vibes your way.
Rach lovely to see you posting, and a warm welcome to Leo. I had to laugh at the "sunroof" comment; great that he's now safely here, and you and your DH can enjoy him.
I've decided I need to find some sort of exercises to strengthen my back and stomach muscles, as well as my legs, as I took another flippin' fall earlier. Panic not, I landed on the living room carpet; but it's so annoying, and I dread it happening when someone else (including Mr LW) sees. I think at least some of the trouble is a knee injury sustained in a car crash in 1990 which was never treated; but tbh there's more to it than just a dodgy left knee.
Anyways, I've finally decluttered the fuzz off my legs - been putting it off, as it's a task I loath, and I was beginning to resemble my friend Torak http://ukwct.org.uk/index.php?page=torakIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
