Been busy here with my list.. Been to parents house and did some sorting/throwing/tidying there to make it ready for any viewings. Am eating HM lentil & bacon soup now, & then will attack the cupboard of doom in the snug. DD has all her making/doing things in there and it's breeding, so I'm having a cull :rotfl:

Been to see my aunt - she's got alcohol induced brain damage and is in a home, so it's not an easy visit. Cleaned out the chickens, and got them very excited by doing some planting in the garden. Bloomin' things would not get out of the way, and were so happy :D Got given a bag full of pears, so I've found a pear & walnut chutney recipe & will be trying that tomorrow. Oooo and I've bought my grandmother a dongle, so she can skype :eek: with my parents who are now in Portugal! Will go and install it all for her tomorrow or Friday.

My kitchen is still beautifully sparkly :A if you ignore the pile of washing I brought back from Mum & Dad's.. :cool:

Please can someone PM me the recipe for Twinks hobnobs? I want to try!!

3rd day of 1st module masters programme completed today and all has gone well so far. Very enjoyable so far, aside from the dred of the huge amount of reading that now needs doing and assignment outline.

Really enjoyable to be at university and not too bothered about fitting it in with working FT now. Is a nice alternative alongside work

Sooooooo, means the flying may have to be pushed down the list of priorities, will see how I get on fitting all of this in and will try to complete most of the lists for the week each week

I didn't realise how much of a booster all you wonderful folks where till now. My internet went down on Sunday and has just come back to life today. :T

Thing is I have done very very very little . Have been totally out of sorts and spent all my time practicing crochet, ringing BT and repeatedly clicking refresh on my lappy.

I do have a joblist for this week which is;

Buy Car Tax (this has been a nightmare had to request another copy of my insurance cert as i lost mine .. aghhh)

Complete dads birthday present for thursday
Start Open Uni course
[STRIKE]Take car into garage for heater repairs[/STRIKE]
Clean out coal shed and organise
Check Oil tank
Place fuel orders if needed

DD 'encouraged' to vacuum the landing - because she puts her gerbils in the bathroom overnight, sawdust gets kicked out, because the bathroom is vinyl flooring it gets walked onto the landing. *roll eyes*
DS in a MAJOR strop/huff with me. My mum and dad go on holiday (again) tomorrow so mum popped down to expain the intricacies of their new alarm system. She left about 25 to 8 after offering DS's GF a lift - they rejected this offer (my mum lives near the GF) as 'her mum will come and get her'. At 7:50 turns out her mumWASN'T coming for her so could I take her. DS has been told to stop asking for lifts from me for her, especially as he does this in front of her, and to make sure she goes on time...
So, since she had (a) been offered a lift and (b) been told I WOULD NOT take her I haven't.

And of course I'M at fault.

hex arent you lovely doing DH's car for him - I certainly dont envy you your other job of dealing with the itunes bill - wee monkey - I guess he will learn the hard way and hopefully not do it again .

..groan.......... just had to tell Maria i didnt want her anymore and I was just explaining what was wrong when my house phone went so she kinda went off in the huff - I didnt handle it very well:(

The charity shop jacket and tights I got today to dress DS3 up as Shakespeare in are fantastic on him. Just need to sort out a shirt with a big square collar and to hem some shorts to puff them up.

For now though ironing.

Evening all,

I didn't make it back after my last HHC. I did 15 mins of sorting the Pc cupboard and then the garage phoned to tell me OH's car was ready so we had to go and collect it. That car spends more time in the garage than it does being driven.:eek: I'm just glad mine's being well behaved. I feel like i haven't achieved a lot this week so i'm considering a major blitz tomorrow.
