Weekly Flylady Thread 27th September 2010

Hi guys, LOADS of catching up to do..... as predicted, this week at work is EXTREMELY busy & I've been bringing work home. Made myself sit down & watch some Carp on TV to get myself to chill out enough to function once we'd had dinner. SO is out for the evening, so am now sat in my PJ's (& a big fleecy dressing gown, - still no heating on here yet, - holding out till the 1st of Nov if I can), with a glass of wine & a huge lever arch folder of work to get through.
Have a freind coming down on Fri, so MUST catch up with the flying, hopefully tomorrow will be better, (- but I doubt it!). On a positive note, after missing the dry cleaners yesterday (didn't even have time to get any lunch, never mind eat it), I did get my coat picked up today (dropped off last week (from my list)). It looks great, so some £ saved there this year. :-)
Despite my best efforts I'm hopelessly behind with the thread but will try & catch up soon.
Hugs, spoons & best wished to all who need them.0 -

Ok so I'm a day behind because of yesterday but still trying. Will try and catch up with thread later as need to create a timetable for DD who is now 11 and should have been able to get to school this morning BEFORE registration finished :mad:Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Its nice to know what others are doing and when I can join in I feel as if I have company
That's exactly how I feel. Started flying on Monday, and now I have a lovely sparkly Kitchen. The upstairs hall is clear, bathrooms and the bedroom from hell is looking wonderful now. I've also got through a shedload of other things such as the business accounts etc. I never would have achieved it without everyone here.
Off for an early night now. My Psoriasis is playing hell and itching like crazy, and I ache all over. Not sure whether it's the Psoractic arthritis or if I'm coming down with the bug the kids have had...... or it could be the unaccustomed cleaning exercise!
Night night, sweet dreams!Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.0 -

kazmeister My DS1 is 16 and sends my blood pressure skyrocketing as he leaves the house at 8.10 for an 8.15 bus with a 10 minute walk to get there!
Valli - Sounds very familiar. They have to learn the hard way.
kazwookie - That's so very unfair. You must appeal. Good luck.
DH had a horrible drive home in awful weather. He's relaxing next to me with a cup of tea and watching the football (story of my life watching football).
Meeting with DD2's therapist was interesting they think she picks up on my anxiety and this makes her pull her hair out. They may have a point but as you all well know my life is never smooth and predictable! I'd have to be a robot not to get upset/excited/angry/demented about it!
Off to try and out bid some one on ebay.....0 -
Sorry haven't been on, just haaad so much to do what with courses and the ongoing saga with my knee and the hospital arghhh
