OK I feel back on track...have just been to my belly dance class and our teacher has worked us hard. Went to Tesco after and resisted the chocolate counter (even with the dark Aeros). Am full of renewed motivation as I had my visit to Linda on Saturday and now I know what my dress will be like I want to look gorgeous in it0

After a bad weekend I gained half a pound this week. I suppose it could have been worse, but I really want to see the scales head in the other direction! Anyway, I was back on track yesterday and going to zumba tonight, so hopefully this week will be better.

I am to depressed to bother at the moment. 2 weeks ago had bird in the bush worst in years. I was due for a cheap massage through a groupon offer i had to cancel it.
I had a diagnosis for my son last monday adhd (not a surprise) maybe some others things as well its all in progress to work out. He was off ill all last week. The penicilin he was on had 2 of the worst hyperactiveity triggers in it and i really knew it. Along with my daughter who has post viral fatigue i am worried to bits about her. She was off since last tuesday and is not well enough to go back to school yet. She is missing far to much school. She loves school and is worrying about her future as well as missing her friends. She has been like this the last 18 months. She has only had 2 full weeks in a row at school in this time. She is just so exhasuted and i have been given zero advice except let her rest and don't push her to school if she is to tired. She is wincing in pain just going up a flight of stairs. She has felt nauseus every day with it she never gets a day off. I don't take her to the doctors often but the last time i went i was treated like i was wasting their time she was in pain and exhasuted and they didn't want us there. For the first 6 months i was told to get her doing more exercise the worst advice ever.
I was loosing weight but have stalled and put on i am not looking this week. I am giving myself some cleaning goals today i keep looking at the wii and thinking i just cannot be bothered.
target for today
All the bedding washed dried and ironed.
Sweep one lot of stairs and get that god awful black weird mark off .
mop kitchen floor (my nemesis as its a white floor and never looks clean)0 -

Maysie, I'm so sorry that you're having such a hard time. I don't really have any advice for you, but didn't want to read and run. I hope things start looking up for you soon ((hugs))Marrying my lovely man on 1st September 2012

No weight loss to report here, but I've given myself a massive wake up call.
I have done my measurements to see what I need to lose for my dress to fit. Since buying the dress, my measurements have stayed the same apart from my waist where I need to lose an inch. Altering my dress outwards is not an option. The dress will do up as it is, and I can breathe, but it doesn't look right IYSWIM. I've looked at the photos a million times and it's definitely the waist that's a problem, not the bust as I thought when I tried the dress on.
As of Monday just gone I do not drink wine during the week. If I have chocolate, it's two chocolates from the Celebrations or Miniature Heroes tin. That's two in a day, not two at a time. I'll still have the food I like, just smaller portions and where possible cooked on the health grill. We've already switched to 1% fat milk (OH didn't notice) and we use extra lean mince and drain the fat. I don't want to do a slimming class (partly pride, partly time, partly because I'm thinking long term) so I'm doing this by being sensible.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Hi Everyone,
Can someone give me some advice please... trying to lose weight for the July/August 2012 wedding. Which is fine, but i do need to shift some 4stone in my opinion (less if you ask OH - bless him).
I am wondering how far in advance I need to be sorting out my dress? i.e. how long do I really have to lose weight.
Also i assume that you can get a dress and have it altered, but guess if you lose a lot after buying the dress it may not look how you would like it to. That didn't make much sense, but what I mean is what suits your body will change as you lose weight.
Any help please - need something to focus/motivate me.0 -
Congratulations everyone on your weight loss and keep up the good work.
I think i'm going to try and join you in the toning up and weight loss.
My main problem is I eat rubbish and am never motivated to go to the gym, when I do, i'm there sweating away and everyone else looks like they're in a magazine. (And their on the machines longer and faster / higher than me). So I don't go again for weeks.
But i'm going to keep reading through this for motivation when I don't want to go again, there are other people like me.0
