Ed Miliband wins Labour Leadership

The Tories couldn't have got a better result than this except, perhaps, Diane Abbott. It's wonderful how Labour continues to shoot itself in the foot.
For a party what accuses Cameron of being elitist, smug and self-satisfied, what do they do? Elect a similarly privileged, smug, self-satisfied twit as leader and - worse - one who looks as if his face is fixed into a permanent sneer.
 You couldn't make it up.0

All the press have been going on about this week is will or won’t David go but in the big scheme of things will it make any difference what he does I don’t think so.0

From impressions that I get it seems that sneaky kid brother Ed will be happy with that.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0

Well it will certainly save 'more of the same' in house arguing in the labour party if he does go.
Makes you wonder what they actually mean when they say "I came into politics for the good of the country".0

I'm sure there are a handful who do genuinely go in to it for the good of the country, but most appear to go into it as it's better than a proper job, and provides far more pocket lining opportunities than most other avenues.Set your goals high, and don't stop till you get there.

And he's gone. Quelle surprise. Didn't win, so screw everything he's said before about doing whats right for the country! Mindyou, he says he's doing it for the country & the party.0
