Ed Miliband wins Labour Leadership

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-11412031

The end of the Blairite era. It had to happen. The continuous Tory attacks against the public sector forced union members to abandon Blairism and go back to Labour's social-democratic roots.

Before attacking the young Miliband, remember that this guy has a first class degree from Oxford.

What the hell has Milliballs winning the Labour leadership on a undemocratic union vote got to do with house prices.

    And?

This either means he is very intellegent. Or knows how to fiddle the system.

As I keep saying, a degree can be given away. It has no educational value.

Labour is the party of spend spend spend spend spend and then spend some more.
  • Ed Milliband lost amongst the Party MP's and the Labour Party members in every round.

Only the Union vote got him through.

Labour now unelectable by the way, with a swing to the left which will alienate the middle classes.

I'm happy Balls and David Milliband didn't win.

Ed seems (slightly) less annoying than his brother.

TBH, I wasn't particularly fond of any of the candidates running.

David won the 1st,2nd, and 3rd rounds - and LOST - what sort of stupid voting system is that!

and sadly Ed doesn't seem to believe that there is any urgency in cutting spending - which shows you that you can have a first class in degree and still be thick..... but I doubt his degree was in Economics...
