Oh Gawd..can someone please merge these postings? We know the boring little Prol "won" the ballot but in reality,it is of no consequence as he will never Govern. The best thing he can do is assist the current government to fix the mess the previous one left and also it would be nice if Milliband apologised on behalf of the Labour party.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

Listening to the candidates for the leadership, almost all of them wanted to increase taxes for the working person and hand out more benefits to chavs so I think it makes little difference who won. Except that Ed is seen as the creature of the unions a bit more than the others, so the Tories now have a better chance of hanging on at the next election.0

I think it does make a difference. I don't think I can vote for Ed "I don't think we should rush paying down the deficit" but I could have voted for David "I'll keep to Alistair Darling's plans". I can't vote for more people paying higher rate tax either...0 -

Only the Union vote got him through.
Labour now unelectable by the way, with a swing to the left which will alienate the middle classes.
Please get your facts right.
It was Union members that voted. The Unions haven't had a block vote for a long time.0 -
