my daughter has the flickering screen now, especially Facebook, have rung D&JH and they are taking it back to reimage.
Replacement battery is fine by the way.0 -

Don't see how re-imaging is going to fix the problem. It's obviously a known issue. If the BIOS update doesn't fix the problem, they should/will be offering a refund or exchange to an equivalent machine.0 -

To be honest, I don't know; as I don't have a machine in front of me. So I would err on the side of caution and change it, at the least.
