What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

    Morning everyone!

Hope everyone is ok? Dull and rainy here today. Up early as the people next door started having an argument at 7am (they are VERY loud) and I lost my cool and shouted through the wall for them to Bloody well shut up! Was not a happy bunny

Wasn't AF last night but was moderate and have no bad head or anything today.

Beckseven and darwinsmum - welcome to the thread. As our lovely Shaggy said, hope you are both feeling a bit better today.

Me and Piglet are off to the shops so he can get something for his Nanny. Its her birthday tomorrow.:)

    Have good sundays all

:wave:Welcome to beckseven and darwin's mum. This is a lovely, supportive thread and you'll get any help you need here to cut down/give up.

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday to daisyc. Hope you're enjoying your day as much as I did mine. Surprising number of Pisceans on here, there must be a significance in fish-like habits!!

MissP, I drank moderately over time yesterday so pleased no hangover or anything. DH and I ended up walking to a local pub/restaurant last night as we'd both had champagne earlier so couldn't drive. I don't know about you but I'm so glad I cut down with this thread before starting SW as to do both at once would have been very demanding.

Having a drink with my dinner later but back on the wagon tomorrow, hoping for another four straight AF days.

I hope everyone's enjoying their Sundays.

Sorry, forgot to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! to daisy earlier!!!:o Hope you've had a lovely day!

Maman - yes, SW would have been impossible before learning to cut down on the wine. I find I use hardly any syns day to day so can indulge at the weekend without worrying too much. Its also good as Mon-Fri I am now AF. I guess the whole SW ethos is based around healthy eating AND moderation so thats got to be good with regards to AF'ness?

    Hi everyone,

Been totally AWOL with all things MSE lately, apologies! But I have counted and I can report 4 AFDs for March so far. Which is not too bad.

Also, I'm semi-quitting again. Had a bit of a personality malfunction last night after not many beers, and I'm not happy with that. I don't like how ridiculous and irrational I seem to be getting after a drinky or two, so I'm going to stop drinking for a bit. BUT will be drinking at a dinner on Thursday, but I've decided I'll stick to tonic water in the bar afterwards. Ho hum. Hope everyone else is ok, will be playing catch up with the thread later on!

Thanks for the lovely messages of support from everyone. Sounds like you feel very similar to me darwins-mum. I stuck to lemonade last night and had an early night and woke this morning feeling much better-but I must admit I still feel sluggish because of my massive binge on Friday. Having alcohol free day tonight so that is 2 Afds for me now- I really want to cut way down and get back into a restrained way of drinking again-i.e less than 14 units a week and I'm going to start driving on nights out so the temptation is not there. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hi Everyone and welcome to the newbies
11 AF days please Shaggy incl tonite. Poured myself a glass of wine last night and didnt fancy it so poured it back into the bottle. Im not sure why i do this, maybe im subconciously setting myself a test, who knows, im not going to dwell on it too much.
Off to the cinema tonite with DH to see Black Swan left it a bit late to book tickets so we are in the front row so expect to have a crick in my neck tomorrow:(
