Hi ya acorn .... I see your light is out just now but wanted to welcome u into the party ... Great bunch of people in here
Hi acorn :hello:
elantan or anyone else what light? :huh:What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Hi Shaggy. There's a round blob in the bottom left of the screen underneath your posting stats - green if you're logged in and red if you're not. Have a look at your last post and you'll see it.
Oh, and am on 17 here. Nearly cracked after the Arsenal game last night, my heart can't take 85 minutes of trying not to concede to Stoke! But didn't....nothing to see here...0 -
Morning everybody, wishing for a bit of warm weather in this part of the world. Welcome newcomers and I wish you all the luck in achieving what you hope to achieve.
23 AF DAYS THANKS SHAGGY0 -
I'm going to aim for 15 AF days next month. Not got much planned for March, so it shouldn't be a problem.
I managed to walk past the wine aisle in Sainsburys yesterday, but then I had a can of beer whilst watching Pontypool. Bloody good film. Then loud music kept me up til gone 12 last night. Grrr.HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Morning again everyone
Went back to bed about 5 this morning and got a couple of extra hours sleep. So feeling a bit livelier now. Been busy cleaning the kitchen (including the oven!)
Mum is treating me and Piglet to a trip to the cinema later - we are going to see Yogi Bear
Hope everyone is ok?

Welcome to Acorn and well done to Marru for your exams. Welcome back Daisy Chain!!
I missed loads on here this week.
I've been AF this Monday and Tuesday so that's 11/14 for me please Shaggy.
It's been rather mixed for me here this week, I have been offered a new job and then immediately came down with a cold so have been comfort eating for England. I can't believe it's Thursday already!!0 -
Congratulations on the job offer WBF!!:T And hope you are feeling better soon.

Hey everyone ...anyone about...its mighty quiet here today on this board, i dont think i like being here all alone.....
hope everyone is well...quick update on wee sis in NZ ~ she has left Christchurch to go and stay with MIL, a journey which normally takes 3 hours has taken her 10 with 2 small children, due to the terrible state the roads are in. There is no running water in CCh, petrol is low, looters are everywhere, food supplies running low, shops are charging riduculously prices for bread eg £5 for a loaf! Glad she got outta town for a bit.
22 AF days please Shaggy
Lost another pound and a half at fat class this week was breathing in when i stepped on the scales not sure if that added a wee half pound or not....i go to ridiculous efforts prior to stepping on the scales including removing jewellery!! :rotfl::rotfl:It’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
