  • Hi everyone! Been a long time since I posted here. I just wanted to share something disturbing that I found out last night when doing the budget on here. I have been spending around £120 a month on wine! I didn't even realise...Funny, I could never stop myself for health reasons, or weight loss, but now I've found an extra £120 I can sling at my debts...bye bye home drinking!

  • Afternoon all!

Took Piglet to doctor again this morning. She has now given him anti-biotics. Hopefully that should help clear the cough. Bit fed up with following him round with a sick bowl!!:rotfl:

Having a quite day - Piglet currently ensconced on sofa watching Toy Story 3. He's happy. I'm going to sit and do some knitting.

Good news is, what with everything else going on at the moment, alcohol has only crossed my mind a couple of times. Think I'm dealing with my problems in a much more rational way (I would usually go off at the deep end if I was tipsy)

    Hi everyone

Need to have a bit of a think but I have definitely had 2 more AFDs these past few days, so up to 6/10

Probably won't drink tonight as am studying, or tomorrow as driving, but having a romantic dinner at home with Mr Lotti on Thursday (no reason, I was just feeling like we just slob on the broken sofa in front of the tv and fancied a bit of romance again... luckily he seems really pleased too!), so will have some wine then most likely! :D

Then my mother is coming to stay on Friday, just for the weekend, but alcohol will most probably be involved on both Friday and Saturday nights. Which leaves... tonight, tomorrow, Sunday and Monday to hit the target! (Phew! It's still possible! :rotfl:)

Its my friends funeral today, and I'm not looking forward to it at all. Piglet picking up on my mood a bit and is grumpy and picky. Lets hope w all buck up a bit later!

Scotdebs - brush yourself off and start again. I hate that feeling the day after...feelings of disappointment and recrimination. Am sure today will be much better for you.:)

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
