17 AF please Shaggy and thanks so much for your daily postive quotes, i for one, love them.
Wasnt Af last night, we were having a quiet Sat night in, chinese, dvd and decided to have a glass of wine, and you know what? i didnt enjoy it! I wonder if there is any research/theories/experiences going about that would suggest that over time, of not drinking, your taste buds change??? Anyone know?? It was a bottle of wine that ive had and loved before, but last night it just wasnt going down so well, we both had a glass each and then i put the rest down the sink
Wishing you all a great Sunday

Moderation is good mackeroo, so well done. I know what you mean about not enjoying wine so much. As I now limit how much wine I'm having I'm much more discerning. Stuff that I would happily quaff before tastes like vinegar. I'm paying a bit more for a lot less wine so I'm still quids in. I wonder if it's the same with beer? I'd have thought the taste of that was more consistent.

    15 please Shaggy!

Was AF on Friday but had quite a few last night without taking into account of how much I've cut back and turned into quite a lightweight! AF tonight.

    Happy new week folks

    Lala x
    :);) AF since 10.04.11 :):D

Just like not enjoying the usual tipple so much, lowering the threshold of what you can handle is another side effect of AFness lala. Good isn't it?:D

Thanks for that Maman, i think you may have hit the nail on the head as the wine was bought 3 for £10 and although ive had many a fine tasting wine from deals like this, i dont think this 1 of them. I think you are right about spending a bit more on wine, i will start doing this. Im planning on buying a bottle every week, ive always longed to have a selection of wines in the house for friends to chose from, but never managed to keep wine longer than a day previously! :rotfl:

    I am on 20 please Shaggy :)

Have had nice rest today so feeling better. I will update final scores for last week's challenge at lunch time tomorrow. And unfortunately I am not going to run a new weekly challenge.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

There are lots of alcoholic drinks I love the taste off but when I'm thinking about drinking I always think about how baddly I sleep when I drink and the nice calmness I have when I don't drink. Sometimes (not always) I think drinking makes me crave sugar too.

Usually when I'm thinking about drinking these days I feel conflicted because I actually enjoy not drinking but it is nice to have a drink too:)
