    Morning all

Much better night with Piglet and he's a lot better this morning. Still coughing though and, as its only a half day at school, am keeping him home. I'm off now anyway.

Feeling very tearful today. So will try not to come on here and winge too much. Its kids weekend and his daughter will be down later. We have decided to play her the abusive message her mum left on our answerphone and will be asking her who has been giving her Mum details of our lives that are none of her business. Its about time this was all sorted before it wrecks my marriage.

    I just thought I'd quote your 3000th post! Congratulations:T

I think you're very wise to play that message back to StepD. She needs to realise what upset her 'careless talk' can cause. It's a difficult one with teenagers as they're half child/half adult. Of course, I don't know the young lady concerned but she may be being pumped for information and grown up in an atmosphere where her mum is always slagging off (I can say that can't I?:o) you and OH so she's saying what she thinks mum wants to hear. Do try to just be calm and matter of fact about what you say. Maybe it would be better if OH talked to her on his own. It wouldn't help anyone if an argument develops where she feels she has to fight her mother's corner in her absence.

I'll stop pontificating (and apologies for sticking my oar in) but I do hate to see you getting upset like this all on top of the CSA stuff and everything else.

I survived. Will post the whole sorry story in my diary later today. Need to get some food in me even that I feel utterly sick.

Off shortly to take DD her party dress, it is school disco night. I will pop my head around the surgery before that just by off chance there is a GP with 5 minutes in their hands.

Is it any good? I really like Alex Kingston.

I really like it Shaggy. It's spooky without being scary, excellent acting and a plot to keep you guessing. Perfect drama :D

    Sending you this marru smiley-hug008.gif
So glad you managed to catch GP. Hope medication kicks in and you start to feel better soon. A good night's sleep should help.
  • Good morning all

Marru - lots of ((hugs)). As Maman says, hope those meds kick in soon. And I hope BF is able to take DD off your hands for a few hours. I know that when I'm struggling, everything Piglet does or says seems designed to try me. Try and stay calme. If she drives you mad, stick her in front of the TV with some finger / junk food. It won't hurt just this once.

Shaggy - 16 for me please

I woke up at 4am and have been sat up ever since knitting. We spoke to StepD last night and played her the voicemail from her Mum. She already knew about it as was there when her Mum left it. OH was very blunt with her. Lots of home truths were aired and I think she learned a few things she didn't know. Such as WHY I don't get on with Granny. (and apparently granny rings the ex-wife at least twice a week). So we're down to the wire here. OH has warned her its a fresh start now. That we all love her but that if won't take any more cr*p from her mum or his mum. And that if he finds out anyone is gossiping about things in our lives to her Mum then there will be hell to pay.

Phew......I feel very relieved its all sorted (although we still need to speak to stepS today to say the same things). Its up to stepkids now to decide how they want things to be. They know where their Dad stands.

Sorry to ramble. Its all going through my head and helps to get it down in black and white!!!

Off for a coffee now....as if I'm not awake enough already!!!!:rotfl:
