What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0

Not poor shaggy still, is it?
Yes! LOL :rotfl:
I don't mind doing it:D I get up earlishish to catch up on Asian market news so I tend to update the chart while I'm listening/watching that. (I'm having a strange week this week though so I might be a bit later this week...)

Morning all
Feeling a bit more positive here today. Had a nice evening with Piglet and OH last night. OH very understanding and being extremely supportive.
Shaggy - 3 for me please. Won't make target because of my slip up.

Just a very quick one,
I can't log on every day at the moment, so my updates til 18th Jan will be quick and brief!
1 more AFD for me please Shaggy!
I am having a lovely time up in Mancs with my parents and will be seeing some friends over the next 2 weeks too, so I will be drinking at the weekends, but will do my best not to drink at all during the week.
Hope everyone is well and happy.
hugs,
Caz

 Just a quick hello cazz, glad you're having a good time and plans to see friends. You need a break after all the messy business lately. Enjoy!:)0

I know moderation is harder than giving up completely, and after this month I intend to practise moderation... but I've also been continually run down and ill for ages, and feel I need a bit of a change in my outlook. Also, I was getting rather too cheered up by the first drink of the evening (or day, over Christmas...) and it isn't a reaction I like.
That's a debatable point lotti, and one that we've discussed on here many times in one form or another;). But as a determined cutter-down I'm delighted to hear you say that, it's made me feel very good about my achievements. Thank you!
I'm a weekend drinker but I do allow holidays and special occasions then get back on the wagon immediately after. It's not been easy but I've had a good talk to myself and now I even listen:)
Glad to hear you're feeling better today MissP. It's a good feeling returning to some form of normality (whatever that is?).0 -

Hello. What a great thread. Can anyone join in?
I am aiming to be a cutter-downer rather than taking the pledge for life, but being honest with myself, I am firmly of the "One drink is never enough and more than one always becomes too many" persuasion. So it's abstinence for the time being.
And thus far I have managed 6 days. No white knuckles yet.0
