Hey Jo - I know it's none of my business
but why don't you just tell him what you know and ask him to pack his bags and leave?
Lol Shaggy, when you post on an internet forum, whatever you say is everyone's business :rotfl:
Just posted this in the diner (can't be bothered to type it again ):
I don't want to be together anymore, but for the kids sake do not want a huge bust up and so I've decided to take the quiet approach. I told him it's over, he's lying about the GF (as I know the detail and can prove it), he contradicted his story a number of times last night but I told him I don't believe him. I don't want him to know that I know the actual facts yet in case he I get some more dirt on him innit
I want xmas to be nice for the kids, then January, he's off.DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Oh Jo - you are such a typical lovely Mum - thinking always about your kids first
I think my boyfriend's family would drive anyone to drink  at least you won't have any in laws anymore :TWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

Sorry about the job situation - I remember it well. And if you don't get something straight away, try learning a new skill to at least use your time productively
Mark
Morning Mark, Thanks for the very positive suggestion about learning a new skill. If you look at what shaggy wrote it's not his job it's mine but he's quoting my post from yesterday. The green box bit is the earlier post. That's what happens when you press the quote button, you get a paragraph of someone else's stuff to edit. If it's long you can do what I did to yours and cut it down in size as long as you are careful not to muck up the bit in square brackets.
FH, loved your post about the kids and what a difference it made last night. I need to lose 16 lbs and just started back at WW. Trying the new sytem they've just launched and finding it a bit complicated last week although cheese is much less expensive and is my fave food.
Welcome to poohbear too, and any other new people.
I was AF last night so that's 2/10 for me please Shaggy and another night on the challenge Pen. I managed to sleep last night and woke up before the alarm for the first time in ages. Feel rather bleary and tired though and my face is breaking out into zits. I've found Day 3 difficult on other occasions but I'm feeling strong about today, planning another one tonight. If this keeps up I might be strong enough to job hunt more successfully. I already feel a bit less depressed about it all from two days not drinking.
Have a good Wednesday everyone and thanks to RN for offering to score in December.0 -

(()) - always here you know that - even if a bit quiet lately on here (())
Excuse the in and out and absences - not really alcholol related - head in wierd place - hoping you're all well - trying to be around a bit more - back to work and feel really out of place - having taken 2 month off - I'm now having to stay on alot longer to get finished up with no pay - head fried - but generally (almost completely) AF - I have the odd blip - which I have to keep trying not to have - but they are getting fewer and fewer between.
Welcome to the new faces - stick with it - works a treat on here - ups and downs par for the course - but life changing - I used to be a bottle/bottle and a half of wine a night gal - now I'm lucky if I drink that much in a month. Taken a fair while though - and I need to watch myself carefully.
Nice to see some old/new faces....................xxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Good Morning everyone,....and welcome to any newbies.:hello:
Sorry I havnt been posting much but I have been reading and keeping up with you all.
My life seems to have changed dramatically over the last few months and I am still trying to get organised:)
I am glad to see though that over the last few days the thread has become much more positive and fun again.
Jo....You are doing brilliant and seem like life is being really good to you..........Maybe because you now have such a bright future to look forward to you have no need to block stuff out by drinking.......treasure every minute of your soberness;);)
I have a question......WHY do we drink alcohol to celebrate a special occasion?
When my first grandson was born two weeks ago the first thing I thought was that we should celebrate with a bottle.....we didnt but I really wanted to:cool:
I am off to spend the day with DD2 and baby now....:Dcant wait:D
Have a good day cutter downers and giving uppers
Take care of YOU

Good morning all!!

1 done on the challenge please Pen!
Nice to "see" you MP. Bet you are having great fun with your new grandchild!:)
Markman - that was good news from your Doctors - you must be very relieved.
Maman - ooops, sorry:D Hope the steak was nice? Mine was lovely.
Just dropped Piglet at school. His teacher asked if he was very tired last night (which he was) and said he'd spent nearly an hour in the afternoon chasing girls round the playground :rotfl:. His Daddy is so proud :rotfl::rotfl::D.
Anyway, best dash...
Miss P

ForeverHopeful wrote: »Oh one more thing. I never ever get headaches. But since this morning and my first AF day, thumping head all day. Is that common?
Are you drinking enough water? Dehydration can cause headaches. When I first stopped drinking I 'forgot' to drink enough water/soft drinks to keep hydrated. Sounds a bit odd now, but all the drinks I took were alcoholic so when I stopped drinking alcohol suddenly I wasn't really drinking anything :eek:0
