Just got back from the pub... 2 diet cokes!:j

I'm sorry, I haven't got time now to read all the new posts but I had to come on and thank everyone. For my whole 2.5 hour drive home from work I was "maybe just a shandy, NO! Must be strong, well one wont hurt. NO! But my back hurts and it will help the pain. Ok, maybe just one. NO! I said I'd do an AF day on the forum, and I need 4 AF days before December. Must be strong.":A:A:A

So, if I can do another couple of hours, I hope to be posting my first AF day in two years tomorrow morning.

THANK YOU ALL and keep going everyone. And for those that aren't AF today, you can do it tomorrow

  • That's so lovely MollyPolly :D

I just had a very annoying conversation with my brother on the phone. Maybe the wine normally numbs my idiot radar or something. But tonight I really was getting annoyed with him. A bit like that woman Gillian on I'm A Celebrity has been doing earlier in the week.

Maybe no wine means I'm going to be really grumpy all the time :rotfl:

Anyhow, off to bed. So that's 3 for me please Pen :j
    Need to start again :o
  • Good luck Mark we're all rooting for you.

    Pen 3 :)'s please.

    Shaggy 17 for November please.

    Good night all.

    Thanks Pen :)

I'm also desperate to lose some weight. About a stone off would suit me I think. I'm the heaviest I have ever been and even my mum has passed a comment about it :o DH does too but in a round about way. Whereas my mum just says it as it is :rotfl:I'm pretty sure cutting the wine intake will help with this cause too.

Me too. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and came back to this forum about 3 weeks ago.

I've cut down a lot, from drinking at least a bottle of wine every night, to having a few AFD's a week and when I do have a drink it's usually just two or three glasses (apart from last Saturday when I had loads, and then got the muchies so ended up pigging out on food as well). Alcohol is full of sugar as it is, but I find I pick on food much more when I've had a drink, even when I've already had a big meal a couple of hours earlier.

My work trousers are already feeling a little looser, which is a good feeling :j

It's really hard at first, but gets easier, so keep trying. Good luck!

2 more AFD's for me please Shaggy

I do hope you managed it Mark so we can congratulate you in the morning!

Those bells tolling early evening to the tune of 'drink me, drink me' are very familar but they do quieten in time (honest). Stick at it!

Well done on the weightloss (as well as the AFness) Aaagh. You're so right, there's nothing like alcohol to weaken resolve and start munching!

:Tto everyone who's managed an AF night.

    That includes me:D so that's

2 for this week's challenge Pen and

    5 for November please Shaggy
