Think I'm up to 16 please Shaggy

    Updated :D
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • Morning all, I've only just dragged myself out of bed - need a few more mugs of tea yet.

I have no idea what to have for dinner, must get some groceries in first .... joy, not.

I'll set up a Mon - Thurs challenge later, Pen x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Jo - how did you get on last night? I ddn't have any desperate texts!:rotfl:

You wouldn't have done because when I'm drinking I shy away from all forms of AF'ness :o

Yes, it all went a bit pear yesterday but I actually had a really good day and am not going to be cross with myself otherwise it will be more difficult today.

After I got home yesterday with my goodies and made yummy sausage sarnies, DD1 told me that she was going out and didn't want any dinner. I didn't want to cook the crispy duck just for me as it would go to waste so decided to save it for today instead for me and OH with the noodles and stuff. Then I thought I might as well save the choklit melting puddings and custard as well as I had a huge choc muffin and choc ice cream left that the kids could have (muffiin warmed up first ). They had their pasta and as I'd bought 3 packs for a fiver there was a little too much so I had aeroplane/train/car pasta for dinner :rotfl:

Then, I think because my entire evening that I'd mapped out had changed, this affected my ability to be strong. This obviously always happens but interestingly I noticed this pattern yesterday. I need to deal with my thoughts when plans change rather than allow myself to go onto autopilot. Thankfully I didn't drink much and managed to catch up with all the soaps last night and do the tidying round I wanted to do.

So, Chinese for my Sunday dinner tonight and roast pork tomorrow (just hoping DD1 will be in to turn the oven on at 12pm ).

Got lots of lovely things planned today, cleaning, washing, ironing, the usual.

Pen, I'll join your challenge please, thanks for doing it :A

Please can I be added to the challenge?

Letter writing and filing for me today but I know I will feel better for it. But first need to go and get some stuff from petshop and take DD to the playground. Better get going.

ETA: AAARRRRGGHHHH I got DD some coco pops type of thingys for brekkie (first time I let her have them in the house) and yesterday she declared that she did't like them. So for this morning only option was toast with cheese (she also declared she doesn't like jam on bread). Yesterday she said that she looooves white bread (which we never have but now have one loaf because blind bat here picked up wrong bread from the shop). So I made her cheese toast with white bread and now she tells me she doesn't like it. She picked up the cheese and left the bread. So now she can go hungry until lunch time and in the future it will be choise of muesli or brown bread only me thinks...

    Errrmm.......did I mention I wasn't AF last night??:o

In my defence, I was all set to be AF. Then arrived at the restaurant and my Dad had already ordered me a glass of pinot grigio! Seemed churlish not to drink it.:o

Like you though Jo, I didn't drink too much last night. How is it some nights I could drink till I burst, and then other nights I can drink like a "normal" person??

Had long chat with OH. He says he can see when its all going wrong. I start drinking too early, I refill my glass the minute its empty and I drink too fast. Hes right...I KNOW he's right...just have to do something about it.

    Hey ho, onwards and upwards!

Roast chicken dinner lunchtime ...yum yum!!!!

Well you'd planned to be (as did I), so not only did I not want a text from you telling me not to, I also didn't want to give you 'eff it' thoughts, as it is catching you know.....only doing the right thing

I want to read my book tonight cos it's getting quite good (not 'that' book, a normal book :)), plus my dinner is all bung in the microwave/oven stuff so no reason to hide myself away in the kitchen. I also want to make sure that all our stuff for work and school is ready before I go to bed tonight so I won't be rushing around in the morning.

C'mon then Miss P, tell me EXACTLY what you had to eat last night, don't leave anything out
