Hiya ladies and gents,
How the devil are you all? Well I hope
Had a lie in yesterday and today until gone lunchtime, as I was so shattered! (probably due to having been focusing / obsessing over the ESA Tribunal for months)
Feeling quite happy today, for the first time in ages.
Still need to sort Money Shop debt this week, but I have a plan so it'll be ok.
Paid them £15.99 on Saturday over the phone, so that'll at least give me a further month's grace for the one cheque.
The other 4 cheques, I'll be deferring (for just one more month) as of tomorrow, and then I'll pay them off asap.
Feel so relieved that the ESA Hearing is over. Over the moon that it went well.
Quite proud of myself for not 'celebrating' by getting drunk on Friday too! (8 days sober today)
Was going to clean / job hunt this evening, but I've decided to just take it easy, have a play on Mac and read. Just relaxing until tomorrow instead
Enjoy your evening all.

Honestly, and you all relapse and drink together good times and the purpose of the thread is ........... to support people in cutting down drinking or listen to people who are unwilling to take resposibilty for their actions and want to talk about their bloody tea.

Um, don't mean to be rude, or negative, but I was under the impression that these types of establishments sell beverages of all types - alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
If we're meeting up, I don't have issue meeting in a pub because I've decided to cut down my drinking.
I'm going to a wedding the night beforehand - I don't expect anyone to modify their behaviour because I'm cutting down/not drinking either.
As adults, surely we can attend a 'function' without dictating that the location has to be alcohol free?
I really don't mean to be a pain, but I've no issue meeting up in a pub before we head out for food. Alcohol surrounds everyday life - I can choose whether or not to drink.............if we meet in a pub - no one's going to force anyone to drink or neither should we dictate that people don't drink either - the thread has many facets.
The largest of which, is in my opinion, friendship.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I may write a blog on 'the art of killing a chat' - beat my normal gardeny type blog-wittering!
Hope you're all good -

Hi Fay :hello:
Trying to get DD in bed - mission impossible tonight it seems.
Talking about blogs, I have started one instead of having the diary here. Link in my profile.
Back to [STRIKE]shouting [/STRIKE]asking nicely for DD to get ready for bed.
Oh forgot to say 25 please Shaggy"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Oh, that's a little harsh, isn't it. There are many ways of being supportive and being supported - idle chit chat and banter is a part of that in this thread. I think that by coming here and posting and talking about our relationship with alcohol we are taking responsibility -
we not always be suceeding 100% but we all keeppicking ourselves up and starting again.
Sorry quote thing hasn't worked quite right but I'm sure you can work it out
AF tonight again- had friends over for lunch - very convivial , opened a bottle of wine and there's still about two glasses left.Trying to keep in budget.
