Yeah....I do know why......it all started when I lost first DH and was left with an 18 month old child.I worked in a pub at the time :eek::eek:
I then met DH2 who was in the Air force in Germany.He managed to get back to me most weekends with a bottle of my favourite brandy and a bottle of whisky for himself.(it was so cheap for him to get:o)
I think these two things happening in a matter of about three years were the start of my slippery slope.I was lonely after my first husband died so drank myself into oblivion alot....(its lucky DD1 was such a good child and slept all night every night:o)
Then I was lonely when DH2 went back to Germany so drank again....and drank when he was here too:o.

DH still drinks most nights even now but I can honestly say that in the last 30 years I have only ever seen him drunk once and that was at DD1s wedding.....(so that was allowed):D....He is lucky...he knows when to stop......I dont:(


We still have no sign of baby arriving so I hope you all have a lovely time tomorrow....I will be thinking of you.....pictures on FB please as soon as you can:D

Evening everyone:wave: ....thought I`d just pop in & see how everyone is:j:j

Still AF here. Sat with my lime cordial & sparkling water....to which I am now totally addicted & at least it doesn`t have a % sign on the bottle:o:o

I have accepted that addiction is one of my personality traits so at least I am trying to get myself addicted to healthy things....hmmm struggling with lettuce addiction though:D:D

Waiting for XFactor (another addiction) & the horrors that the programme will inflict on the population of Great Britain this evening:eek::eek:

Think I need to get a life:o:o
