Helix: if Takoda couldn't find the contact details they needed, then the HDNL website still needs to be reported to the BIS as the law's very clear on how and where companies should put their contact information, and what they need to put there.

Also, that Contact Us page seems to love throwing out 0871 numbers too, gee, are HDNL trying to make even more money out of people? ;)

the contact us link is on the home page
it gives a contact us form, postal address and phone number
    what would you be reporting?

Did you actually try clicking on that link? It is only for people wishing to arrange alternative arrangements for their parcel. Or track a parcel in transit.

I don't have a parcel - I have a complaint. There is no email address to contact them on that site as far as I can see. If someone can prove me wrong I'd be eternally grateful.

Googling them throws up an absolute catalogue of mistakes, blunders, lost parcels and damaged cars etc. Apparently they pay their drivers peanuts and that's why they get muppets working for them. I rest my case.

There is a postal address listed but I don't have a working printer at home at the moment and no longer handwrite letters.

I think it speaks volumes that there is no email address listed. Presumably they can't cope with the volume of complaints they would receive if they listed an email address. That would also eat into their profits because they would then have to pay someone to monitor it.

That is for business who want to use them to deliver to their customers. I expect they would ignore anything which wasn't sent under those circumstances.

    Poor set up.

Do you work for them now custardy?

I wasn't saying they were contact details you wanted, I was addressing what MothballsWallet was saying about reporting them. You can't exactly report them for not having contact details on their site when they do.

Thanks for asking gordikin but since this is MSE I'm not planning to answer your question. If I do answer it, the original question will be totally lost in a debate about driving rights and wrongs.

You used to be a postie. Dunno what you do now. Just a guess because they are a related industry.
