have notified this issue and thread to the news team at Martin Lewis.... tho' did get a warning email that it takes them ages to sift through their inbox!!!!
My bugbear is that Nintendo ( any web site programmer can make a mistake- hope no-one gets sacked!!) have been so cowardly in notifying of the ticket retraction. ( that would be a senior management decision surely??) .. if they'd retracted on say 27th Sept there probably wouldn't have been such an outcry cos the kids wouldn't have been counting down and not sleeping for two weeks!!!!

Guys, after phoning and searching I found out it's actually NOT nintendo's fault but the marketing company http://thisisbd.com/ who have been running this.......

I sent an email with all my details to the nintendo service center with ALL of the details I'd sent to the wii party enquiries email

So just now I phoned back the service center and spoke to their team leader Jack and he like Jonathon yesterday agreed with me that it was wrong and said he'd forward my details to them which he did.

They seemed to be inundated with complaints about this but sent this to the wii party people anyway saying that I'd threatened to call Watchdog (which I haven't well yet anyway) and lo and behold 5 mins later the magic email arrives.

"Hi Simon

You spoke with a colleague of mine earlier. Apologies for the response in replying to your email.

I can confirm you have been allocated your two tickets. Unfortunately we have had some fraudulent activity with people posting the invitation to numerous websites and forums so we have had to go through a verification process with the Club Nintendo database, hence why your email was picked up as being incorrect.

Your tickets will be dispatched today by first class post so you should receive on Friday at the latest.

Just received an email to say I've now been allocated tickets, guessing it's from the 500 extras...

Well I too have just got confirmation I got tickets from the second draw....

Howwever I've told them to stick them back in the draw as, with no tickets in sight, I cancelled all saturdays arrangements at 11 am this morning. Fortunately no financial loss .... only disappointment.

Nice to know we can blame a marketing company and not nintendo... perhaps we can put them back on the xmas present list!!!!

Still no email here - can I ask how quickly you guys replied - as unfortunately I was out when the email arrived about the 500 tickets and it took me about 45mins to respond???

Just got a response to my complaint and they've said they're going to send me 4 tickets!!!! Really pleased my little girl is mad on the Wii and loves rides - fingers crossed they arrive now

I replied very quickly .... after about 10 mins... I was at computer !!!!!ing about all this anyway!!!!.

I have also sent emails today to the party team and I got a personalised notice followed by the official one (so it may be the case of the louder you shout )!!!!

i just got a confirmation saying that i got my tickets and they will sent first class and be delivered at the latest on friday, 4 tickets in total
