This is one good reason why the only people who should be authourised to make plates are the DVLA, they could become self-funding by doing this, and cut-down on the number of illegal and cloned plates out there in the wild.

I mean you only rent this car, and writing your name in back window in tippex is much cheaper option. You can spell it right, too.

The vast majority of people in the UK don't think an 8 looks like a B either. In fact, the vast majority of people in the UK don't have private plates either, so it seems your generalization makes about as much sense as me calling you a cheese eating surrender monkey. shaking.gif

Oops, sorry. Didn't mean to offend. No need to take it out on me just because the advice you posted was totally incorrect and could have been verified by a quick google search.

I love my private plate tbh, means absolutely sod all to me but keeps the sad people guessing that care too much about these things :rotfl:

Oh and it's 100% legally spaced on road legal BSAU marked Euro GB plates.
  • I always keep a wide berth of anybody with a personal plate on the road.

Just a personal thing, but something I really detest.

Why not? You're French. I can't think of any better justification for making you a scapegoat. ;)
