Well I had my interview on Thursday it was pretty straight forward as the LPA had already spoken to the compliance team on my behalf.
It was exactly what I thought, someone had reported me as having a "man" living with me, apparently he has a car that's parked outside my house every night.......clever that considering dd's bf is currently learning to drive and doesn't actually have a car lol They asked for dd's bf name, address and DOB, and I had to sign a statement saying that he was under 18 and not contributing to the house financially.
I told them who I thought had reported me and a bit about the history, of course they didn't confirm or deny my suspicions but they have placed a note on my file.
Today I recived a letter saying no further action will be taken :j:j:j I'm surprised how quickly its been sorted out tbh.
Still a waste of everyone's time though

If he stays more than 3 nights a week then he would be classed as living with you and you would have to tell them, but less than that it's just a guest staying over, and no one has the right to say you can't have guests staying over.0

As someone else said before, this is wrong. There is no set number of nights you are able to have guests.
OP: Your neighbour sounds like a lovely individual. As you say, its just such a shame everyones time and tax payer money has to be wasted dealing with such pettiness. Hopefully this will be the last you hear of it.0 -

This is what I was told by the job centre, who tried to do be for benefit fraud for not telling them my carer had moved in (he never moved in). He stayed over 1-2 nights a week and they were claiming it was more than 3 nights.0
