If I was in your position OP, I would hit the company where it hurts - in the pocket!
Refuse to use the vending machine until they see sense.

Im not really that fussed Sarah, its not really about money (would come in handy though haha) quite more out of principal. From a legal prespective, why should they get away with it especially as it has been going on so long?
From a legal perspective, the suppliers (manufacturers?) may have been committing a criminal offence under either the Food Safety Act or Trade Descriptions Act. If it's about principle and not cash, complain to your local Trading Standards Department - they should investigate.0 -

Down Dog and Duck last night, with pint of Best (Old Spot, not suitable for Veggies due to the picture of a pig on the badge), after my Free Range Boar Sausages, Eggs and Chips, I had to send my packet of nuts back as the warning was unsuitable. It said 'May Contain Nuts'
