    Happy Weekend!

Hope you have a good one, and hope you get your expenses soon!

thanks JWIL. we had a lovely weekend and in budget too :) though did have to nip out for a few bits of food, was trying to go the whole week without getting anything in and just eating out of the cupboards but took a real craving for something so went out and got it to cook and it was lovely!

STILL no expenses. this is ridiculous and I'm really quiet angry - I don't see why I should be forced to use y OD just because it takes work for ever to pay expenses!! will phone finance today and give off - not much good it will do but at least it will make me feel a bit better!

Had decided that I would not take out another card to transfere my soon to be ending 0% card to but at the weekend one of my existing, and balance free cards, sent me a letter offering 0% for a year!! 2.9% fee so no too bad so will transfere it across and put teh money I would have used clearing it to another card.

I guess sometimes these things do actually work out!

it always annoys me when companies think it is ok to borrow your money (ie you pay for stuff and then get expenses back) and think it is ok to take their own sweet time over it. Would suggest that you tell them you will be asking for the interest on the overdraft if they don't pull their finger out...
well done on the extra contract and the paying off the student loan.

thanks chev - they really do get me angry - couldn't get hold of anyone yesterday and still can't get anyone so far today.

redone my spreadsheet and things aren't looking good at the minute. Why is it that when you really try and focus your effort on something it all goes a little wrong!

Only good news is that I got some of my final bills though for my old place and the credit on gas account will cover what is owed on electricity so at least I don't need to find money to pay for them!

That is really shocking about your expenses, if they'd overpayed you, you can be sure they'd be chasing you for a repayment.

That's good news about the gas overpayment covering the leccie though, and good news on the 0% card too.

    morning all.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a lovely weekend with friends and family - though did go slightly over budget - however did get some xmas presents too so not all bad!

Made a couple of overpayments and min payments to cards over the last few days. Have also been told old deposit and expenses are on their way so hoping both will be here by the end of the week!!

Going to aim to have my Mint CC (target 1 in my signature) paid off by the end of November. Will be tough but really want rid of it, its not my highest interest but is the lowest balance and will take me down to just 2 CC and then I can attack the next one!
