Just realised I am not allowed to post links as I am a new user so I have obfuscated the urls in the quote.have a read before signing up:

I am the owner of this site and noticed in this thread when looking in my traffic logs. I just wanted to say thank you for the link and I am glad you found the site useful.
I think that it is fairly obvious from the fact that I went to the trouble of creating a website called 'Avoid Virgin Media' that it would take considerably more than £165 for me to even think of signing up with them again!
I guess Money Saving Expert is about consumer revenge and that is exactly why I created the Virgin Media site. It's been about 2 years the site has been running now, but everytime somebody leaves a comment or shares the link online I feel great inside! VM might have screwed me over, but revenge is sweet!0 -
Sorry this offer ended - no doubt a similar cashback increase will be out again soon, as they seem to increase every so often.
Did the cashback track okay with bb only orders (assume validated by now, not paid)?
Also I note that scoobyvirgin went for two orders (BB and tv on separate accounts) - did the install go to plan and both amounts track? Have others managed to order and install more than one account at one address using the online ordering system (same or different name)? We had considered this but thought it wouldn't work if your address already has VM or have recently left (6 months is mentioned that you have to wait before you are allowed to come back, though I am not sure how accurate that is).
Many thanks
