£165 cashback on Virgin Media

I am planning to take the 10mb cable with line rental offer which is overall cheaper
the only thing is virgin charges £40 for installation for 10mb..........
they seem to have a "Connect a friend" scheme that can waive the installation charge
is it possible to do a quidco cashback and "connect a friend" together?0 -

Are they both for the same address? I can't see them paying out twice if they are. Although if they do that's one hell of a deal.0 -

If you work it out, taking the 10mb bb and a phone line works out more expensive than bb alone. I don't think you can use the connect a friend option online. You can select self install for £20 if you already have virgin/ntl/telewest plumbed in to your property.0 -

Hi
If you are allready a vigin media subscriber ( well my brother is). I've have never been their customer hence I'm New. I want to have the following offer:
Sky Sports 1 & 2, with top TV package from £23 a month.
My household allready has phone, tv and internet. Hence I wouldn't need the phone line.
Hence would it work out as follows:
£23*12 = £276 - £165 Cashback Final Amount = £111
So will have all the top TV package 160 channels and also sky sports 1 and sports 2 all for 111 on a 12months contract.
Is this calculation correct...???
Many thanks

p.s They won't need to do installation as allready have it with on the household.0 -

i know the bb deal is cheaper but I need a landline though
I've got through to the stage of selecting the date of installation but there is no option for self install....... a bit of a headache0 -
Did anyone's deal track overnight?
Just asking because last week I took up the £65 cashback (where it tracked an hour later at midnight) but then cancelled within the cooling off period and applied again yesterday, however there was no track today.
It's a great deal - 9 month student contract at £20/month - 165 = £15 for broadband for the year.0 -

No it wouldn't work out like that, to pay £23 for the tv package you'll also have to take out a phone line @ £11.99 a month, it doesn't matter that the household already has one.
So £23 + £11.99 = £34.99 per month, add to that sky sports 1+2 which are £14.50 each you're total is £63.99 a month. You'll still have to pay for install which you can get for £20 if you self install.
You'd be better off having the Tv only @ £29 per month, sky sports collection @ £22.50 per month. Total is £51.50 per month. Add £20 for self install and your annual cost is £618 - £165 quidco = £453 devide by 12 = £37.75 pm0 -
