    quidco are not fullproof either wiwthin the last two weeks two different purchases have been made, one with dixons, the other littlewoods both have failed to track.

    i would be very apprehensive about taking up such a deal

    I've used Quidco for years. Only AA and Dixons have failed to track & pay out even after dispute. You can dispute any missing transactions and some take months/years to resolve but usually do pay out eventually.

    I took out the Virgin deal early hours of today (about 12.30am) and it's tracked :T

    Quickest installation date for us though is end of October. Had hoped to have it soon.

  • Can anyone confirm what level of subscription is required to get the full 165 cashback? I've seen people say:

    "anything with cable works",

    "you have to get at least 3 services" and

    "you have to get 3 services and at least one XL service (upgraded broadband or tv)"
  • I know this isnt the right thread but as quidco is being discussed....

    For the benefit of us newbies - what does tracked and validated mean in quidco as ive got both showing for different transaction - thanks

    I've had just the basic tv on it's own and that's tracked at £165. Works out at £5 overall for the 12 months!
  • If it asks if you want HD say no and they give it you free anyway (i got it a couple of months ago) only £65 cash back though :(

    My order (for TV, broadband and phone) hasn't tracked and there's no sign of it in the 'merchant's visited' area. Has something gone wrong here? I don't want to miss out on £165! :(

    Hi, it tracks usually quite soon after making a purchase & then validates after the merchant confirms that they will pay you cashback. It depends on the merchant how long that takes.
    Then the payment times vary greatly, coop insurance last year took about 6 months to pay out.

    I didn't realise until a few weeks ago that you can get cashback on ebay purchases, it's only on the fees they charge the seller, so may be just a few pence, but will all add up.

    How long ago did you put in your order?
    You did go through the link in quidco didn't you?
    If it doesn't track you can ask quidco to have a look why it didn't track. I know that somewhere it says to delete cookies as that can sometimes prevent tracking.
    I haven't heard whether I passed the credit check, so am just hoping that as it's validated I've been accepted. I was expecting a refusal at 5 past 5.
    Does anyone know if you can check on the Virgin site anywhere on the status of your order?
  • Has anyone had theirs validated yet? I ordered last night, has tracked ok but not yet validated.
