TalkTalk's service effectively includes the broadband for free as part of either the essentials or plus package, so there is no point in staying with plusnet for broadband. Also, TalkTalk broadband is 40GB/month allowance, Plusnet is probably 10GB.
You should note that the prices Talktalk quote are for LLU exchanges. If you are not on an LLU exchange then you need to re-think your options.
Just call TalkTalk and see what they say. They will tell you if you need a MAC code and if you are on an LLU exchange.
Personally, I have found that TalkTalk has the fastest and most reliable broadband.0 -

Plusnet is indeed a 10GB allowance.
My exchange is LLU enabled, so no worries there.
I didn't bother calling TalkTalk, as I want to try and keep things simple and be eligible for their online offer.
So, I've ordered the TalkTalk Essentials package at £3.25 per month for 12 months + Line at £12.60 + Anytime Calls 'Booster' at £4.50 = Total Monthly Cost = £20.35.
TalkTalk have estimated a 19 day wait for it all to go live. I called Plusnet to let them know of this, and they said to just give them a call once TT have given me a definite date.
It's about £5 more a month, than what I'm paying Plusnet at the moment, but as you say, I'll be able to make as many calls as I need to for OC without the stress of going over any daily caps (a la Skype) or the hassle of having to manually record each one!
Thanks for all your help Paul.

Hi,
I can't remember what was in my initial email last year sorry!
The email should give you a link for the 'Pulse Desktop', and your login details.0 -

I've just checked the 'Invoices' section of the Pulse Desktop, and even though I completed 8 surveys last Wednesday, they've only invoiced me for 5.
I've emailed OC querying this.
The invoice for the five only appeared on there today, but there is no invoice for the other three :-/
Any ideas?
Thanks - Sim.0 -

Please ignore the above. I spoke too soon!
I must try to be a bit more patient
OC have now added two more of my surveys to the invoice, and I'm assuming that the remaining one will be on there soon.
I'm looking forward to my TalkTalk phone being setup, so I can get cracking with these surveys 5 / 6 days a week.
Cheers - Sim.0 -

Once I've submitted the invoices on the Pulse Desktop, are we looking at 7 days before payment hits our bank accounts?0 -
Hi guys,
How are you all getting on with the OC surveys?
I've finally had my phone / broadband moved over from Plusnet, to Talk Talk yesterday.
Having just done spent an hour making 20 calls, not one person is interested in discussing their building society! :-/
I really want to make a go of this, but I can't see how this is going to earn me a regular wage.
Cheers - A despondent Sim.0 -
PS -
I should add, that last week, I managed to get 8 surveys done over a 4 - 5 hour period, and I probably could've done a few more had I put more hours in.
Asking people to discuss their building society though, is a really tough sell :-/0 -
Sim...
You can only invoice 96 hours (4 days) after a survey is completed. I now generally invoice on a Monday evening (which covers surveys up to the previous Thursday) and payment is uisually in my bank account by the Friday following the invoice submitted on Monday. As far as I can tell, their favourite day for paying invoices is Tuesday, but there is no hard and fast rule.0
